Because of this woman, Sabita, hundreds of rural Nepali women are gaining access to feminine health supplies and education. Their #menstrualhygieneday journey is just beginning but with enough support, we could change the taboo in Nepal. Is your organization present in Nepal? Interested in our work? Send us a DM and let's get connected. #grassrootsgetsitdone 📷 | @angeladevlen

What a killer fundraiser! These powerful women raised over $1,000 for Mahila Partnership this weekend! The founder of @fastzachroutes & Mahila co-founder @juliebmorrill teamed up to create self-defense workshops for women and teen girls, making compounding impact for women globally. Thank you ladies! 🙏🏼 (at Title Nine Edina)

Because of you, we are able to sponsor all TEN orphans in our community with food, shelter, and enrollment in school for a YEAR. Thank you for coming so quickly to their aid - we raised the funds in less than a week! Our anonymous donor would also like to thank you for giving them the opportunity to make your contribution go twice as far. 💕

It is common for children to work or assist in their villages – these children look forward to participating in the Eco-Organic Agriculture program, sponsored by Mahila Partnership, in which they will learn organic farming and gardening, seed saving, and a variety of knowledge surrounding their nutrition and food availability.

Ram, an up-and-coming organization leader with our partner Eco-Organic, Nepal, knows the struggle of orphaned children. Two of his sisters are adopted orphans. Since their integration into his family, they’ve attended school, matured many years, and are now working to become leaders in public service in their village. We want the same for these orphans – and we can do it with your contribution.

Though it wasn't Mothers Day in Nepal, we honor the women of the world for creating & caring for the future. The mothers shown here are caring for the orphans for which we are fundraising this month. They have opened their homes to 10 motherless children and are providing as best their can - but they need our help. Click the link in our bio to learn their story and to contribute to a positive future for these ten orphans.

These children are in the Tailor caste – untouchable by higher castes. Though the caste system is technically illegal, these children still face discrimination and hardship beyond their orphan circumstance. By sending them to prepared to school, we give them the highest opportunity to succeed beyond what they were predestined by their birth. Contribute via the link in our bio!

This is where half of the orphans live. Homes have still not been fully repaired since the earthquake, and the severe poverty and lack of public assistance has left the whole village vulnerable to crumble. Click the link in our bio to contribute to a positive future for these orphans.

We’ve learned of 10 orphans in the communities we serve in Nepal who are desperately in need of assistance. They previously received stipends of rice to the two families housing them, but they are no longer receiving those contributions. Their homes have been damaged since the earthquake so the foster families’ funds are split between feeding the young children and ensuring they have a safe place to live. Your contribution via the link in our bio ensures these children are fed, clothed, and enrolled in school. Together, we can give them a brand new start.

Updates from Haiti: Our women of the artisanat Leomene, a cleaner, and Guilande, an ironer, are both employees at the artisanat. They are part of the team creating pads for hundreds of women in Fond des Blancs, Haiti and the surrounding communities. They are headed to the market during their mid-day break. 📸 | @haitiprojects

Have you been to our new website yet? Check it out via the link in our bio! One of our latest blog posts: Updates from Haiti - the @haitiprojects girls soccer program, posing in their new practice pinnies. The HP team often tests out new health and hygiene projects or education topics with the girls to see how they are received. They are never shy about giving us their honest feedback.

While it's easy to send donated clothing and tarps, it's important for those receiving aid to feel like their dignity and culture are respected. Giving culturally-appropriate dresses contributes to a woman's confidence while they rebuild their lives.
