Answering this from the perspective of someone who literally just finished ARR, here are the takes: Thancred: This one paains me, it really really does. The thing is, Bee Does Not Like Thancred. She thinks he's childish, and immature, and causes more trouble than he's worth. Also she doesn't conceal that dislike whatsoever in the slightest - and that means, given the nature of the story, a not-insignificant chunk of the fandom would probably be into that. Y'shtola: Okay, so this would be a small-but-dedicated diehard fandom. Bee is canonically sapphic, and Y'shtola has peak hyper-competent lesbian vibes. Apparently Y'shtola turns into a goth later. Bee is already a goth. They would probably run the entire scionhood together without breaking a sweat. Alphinaud would be their obnoxious and precocious adopted son. (This is the one I would ship, tbh.) Urianger: It's just the depressed emo-goth vibes ok. The theatre-kid speak. I don't think they'd ever in a million years work, but someone would declare them a favorite crackship and next thing you know it'd be a hardline fanon. This was a fun exercise, but of course, Bee's perfectly content with Mara who FINALLY canonically realizes she loves Bee right as they begin their assault on the Garlean forces. <3

As I come to the end of ARR (finally!) I've decided it's time to dust off this blog with a little update of Bee's exploits!

She has officially reached lvl 50 Black Mage and, heading into her battle with the Garleans, feels pretty confident!

Alphinaud, whose grandfather was friends with Bee's grandmother, is officially her annoying baby cousin whom she loves very much but dear god Alphie please go home this is no place for a baby who played one (1) game of Risk and thinks he can run tactics now.

She's become more and more desperately reliant on her childhood friend, Mara, the further their adventure takes them from their humble Ul'dahn beginnings.

She really, really, really, wants to fight both Gaius and Livia with one arm tied behind her back.

She's pretty sure Thancred needed a babysitter more desperately than Alphinaud. She's tired.

Y'shtola remains her favorite Scion, and the only other responsible adult in the group.

Bee has her official ARR Black Mage glamour on lock, and I'll share it in an upcoming post for posterity!

We are max level in: Botany, Fishing, Culinarian, and Weaver!

i actually saw someone complain that FF14 is being "oversaturated with too many big beefy characters" and they wanted more feminen men in the game (and used elidibus transformed as an example?) and i would honestly love to know which ff14 game theyre playing. because im fucking drowning over here in a sea of skinny bunnyboys

Beatriz Espina is the daughter of Ludivine Jiseaux, a half-Elezen member of House Jiseaux of Gridania. Ludivine was a White Mage who traveled to Ul'dah to study alchemy, and there met and fell in love with Cosme Espina, a Hyur alchemist.

Growing up, Beatriz was not particular close with her mother, as Ludivine split her time between Gridania and Ul'dah, and was frequently away on Healing business as an adventurer. She did spend most of her adolescent summers with her mother's family, under the presumption that like all women in her line, she would train to become a White Mage.

When Beatriz was sixteen, she resisted both of her parents' expectations, by joining the Weaver Guild; in part due to her parents' refusal to allow her to become an adventurer like Ludivine herself. Unfortunately, her mother would die at the Battle of Carteneau several years later, before Beatriz could properly mend their relationship.

It was grief for her late mother, and an anger and despair she couldn't quite let go of, that sent Beatriz first to the Priesthood of Thal. There, she steeped in her grief while studying funerary practices and rituals, eventually becoming a Thaumaturge. Despite this further act of defiance, straying away from her mother's traditions as White Mage, Beatriz feels closest to her mother as an Adventurer, and longs to see all of the places her mother did.

In honor of mother's day, does anyone have some WoL/OC lore they want to share about their character's mother(s)? Are they close? Are they alive? What were they like? Is your character themselves a mother?

Ok, I’m not a big fan of these kinds of posts, but lately, I’m becoming more and more disheartened so I need to know if you’re out there. 

Please reblog this post if you are willing to write with ‘un-shippable’ muses. 

I’m talking about those muses who are perhaps elderly, who are married/taken and not liable to affairs, muses who are asexual/aromantic, or even just muses whose muns don’t really want to ship. 

While I’m always happy that anyone would want to write with me, sadly, over time I have realised that my older/married/ace muses are very rarely (virtually never) requested.
