just a thought, i think we should really start assuming the best of people. like genuinely. there is nothing more transformative to your personal worldview than assuming nobody is out to get you, or inherently evil, or purposely mean until confirmed otherwise. assuming the worst just makes you bitter and angry and scared all the time, thats what makes you scrutinize people for guilt and assuming that your own personal anxieties and biases are justified by the inherent cruelty of humanity.

i’m so genuinely lucky to be dumb as hammers. the simplest things bring me joy. i’ve had several fits of passionate laughing out loud today because i can’t stop thinking of the phrase “one william dollars”
