Spellbound Secret🔮

In the dimly lit chamber, the young witch draws near the heavy tome, its whispers growing more insistent. She holds her breath, delicately tracing her finger along the adorned runes, and suddenly, a large yellow eye on the cover snaps open. The book quivers with an otherworldly aura, defying gravity as it hovers before her. Flipping itself open, it reveals the sought-after page, and from its forgotten pages, power surges into her outstretched hand. But what price must she pay for such forbidden knowledge and untamed power?

Get it? Because "lung" is a type of dragon? XD

Anyway.

So these are two dragon OCs from a cancelled project I made as a teenager. They are both rainbow dream dragons and they are called Horatio and Elijah. This drawing is also a re-draw of a much older drawing.

Elijah used to be called Elysia, but I changed his gender after coming up with the idea that they start finding their "true colours" (and that's what is the most important aspect of being a rainbow dragon). I love the trope of couples growing and changing together, and I also wanted to do something special in time for pride month.

I will also be opening up special pride-themed commissions soon! Keep an eye out :3

Monster chase! Run run run!

Since my normal game projects were taking too long to finish, I decided to challenge myself to make a simple game in the span of three weeks. I wanted to see what I could make that's playable and doesn't go overboard in scope.

So, I made a simple horror game! No story, no explanation, you're just trapped in a dark maze with a vicious monster and you've got to escape. Find three keys hidden in chests and evade the monster as you explore, then look for the hidden exit hatch.

Honestly, the part that took longest while building this was the sprites for the player character. I reused assets from my main project for the map tiles and the monster sprites (which I will show a bit of in the second video I post). And then after that the hardest part was looking for sound effects and music... and getting them to play properly.

But, I succeeded! Just one day short of three weeks is what it took to finish this little concept. I don't know if I should continue to build on it or stick with my original plan to just leave it as a quick project.
