Oh and did I mention one of my first times in an org by and for autistic people, when a regular told me unprompted that when he was 15, he had a 10 year old girlfriend, and that he had planned on waiting until she was 16 to have sex with her?
Women with autism: normal human beings, living average lives to the best of their abilities
Men with autism: 90% of becoming a violent criminal, contributes nothing to anyone, cruel to a fault
We need more research into this phenomena, bc why are most autistic men genuinely evil ppl despite any intervention taken but autistic women in the same environment and interventions come out decent ppl?

To be fair, some of them aren't criminals!
They just didn't get charged. Sending them to the mental hospital was deemed enough.

“I don’t want to be seen as a woman, I just want to be seen as a person!”
Believe it or not, women are in fact people.

Male and Female Sexualization are NOT Equally Bad
given the new popularity of games and other media such as Love and Deepspace and yaoi and stuff, i see many men going 'SEE! women are just as depraved as men are, now stop complaining about female sexualization in games!'
and oh my god you idiots. lets take some super typical examples from popular media. what differences can we see?
note how much male 'sexualization' (more of a power fantasy on men's part) focuses on musculature, on explicit strength, power, vigor and toughness. they don't even need to be showing any skin. all these are considered sexually attractive by men and women, as a result of our lovely culture. now for female sexualization, its mostly about the showing the (unnatural) curves and arches of their body, being coy and inviting, passive and alluring. women are a spectacle to be acted upon and men are the actors.
look at the filmography, angles and posing for each image, look at how sexy men are shown as relaxed, yet towering and active, and how sexy women are dressed skimpily, are coy and posing unnaturally to invite attention. this is the standard across genres, aimed at both men and women.
imagine if you opened a survival game you were greeted with a man in booty shorts and a ragged crop top, with his back arched, looking longingly at the the player. is it the same as a shirtless man with defined abs and a smoldering look? exactly, it is fucking NOT the same. men would consider it extremely humiliating to be sexualized the way women are sexualized. if its humiliating for a man to do, its humiliating for a woman to do, you're just used to women being humiliated.
take a moment and imagine if sexy women were almost only shown as dominant, active and physically strong, and sexy men as only meek, coy and passive. now imagine if these unnaturally posed meek, coy and passive sexualized male characters were absolutely everywhere, in games, tv shows and movies where it made no sense for them to be there. imagine if they were the only male characters present and you couldn't change their looks. if this held true for at least half of all sexualized characters in media, i would cede my position and admit that male and female sexualization are just as bad as each other. until then, shut the fuck up 😘

Like…DOES patriarchy hurt men though? There certain ways that it does but I feel like a lot of people insist it hurts men MORE. And uh…does it though?
-They have to be the breadwinner. Except they don’t…most households in the United States are two-income. It’s very difficult to have a one-income household in the modern climate of the economy. And women who still work as much as their husbands also have to come home and cook, clean, care for children, do laundry, etc.
-They aren’t allowed to dress fun. Except they are? Harry Styles gets on the cover of magazines for wearing an ugly dress. Movies like Wicked repeatedly show men in skirts. Social media is full of men wearing makeup and cute outfits and heels. I feel it’s become pretty normalized now for men to dress how they like. It’s just also normalized for them to dress comfortably, whereas I get a ridiculous amount of pushback for wearing pants, no makeup, not shaving my legs, and having short hair.
-They aren’t allowed to show emotions. Except they are? How many times has a video gone viral of a man crying because he loves his kids. All television, movies, books, etc are ever about is men’s feelings. Philosophy pretty much boils down to “men are sad”. The male loneliness epidemic is all I ever hear about…
-Men aren’t allowed to be gay. Neither are women???? I keep seeing this idea that women have an easier time being gay because they’re fetishized so much, whereas gay men are just treated as gross and weird. Sorry but like…no. Being treated like a porn search is not acceptance.
When men do experience hatred for being gay, wearing pink, or crying it’s literally because those things are womanly. Having sex with men is associated with women (that’s why “it’s not gay if you top”), pink is the “girl” color, crying is “feminine” aka WEAK. It all just reinforces the same thing: ‘woman’ is the worst thing to be.
But men are the victims here?

Not a terf, but I'll explain my take on it.
It doesn't piss me off, it concerns me. Who transitions? People with dysphoria, and it seems there are more and more LGB kids or autistic kids who get pushed to that track. Traumatized ones too.
I know what can happen with a misdiagnosis of the issue. The bandaid doesn't help indefinitely.
And with dysphoria... Well, I wouldn't give a liposuction to an anorexic person. That's basically how I see transition. I'm not going to advocate against it because clearly, there are cases where it's the last solution that can be tried to alleviate distress. But it shouldn't be the automatic choice for everyone. It's insane. Just like we don't give the highest dose of a heavy duty psych med to a mentally ill person right away. And just like we shouldn't cut off the limbs or eyes of people who feel like they should be disabled.
That's not to say trans people shouldn't dress the way they want or perform a gender. The latter would be stupid, because the roles themselves are dumb, but performing isn't a crime. I don't really perform the expected role because I have better things to do, anyway. Changing your name? Meh. Changing your legal sex? Nope. You didn't change sex. No human can. It also has legal consequences. The first example that comes to mind is legal protections for women, such as "you can't be fired for being pregnant". Trans men are legally no different from men, so now it's no longer a women's issues. And that means we can get rid of the protection.
Anyway. There's a difference between the right not to be forced into pregnancy and childbirth or genital mutilation, and the right to do extensive body modifications to resemble the other sex when it might not even be the right solution. I'm seriously hoping this won't be the next medical horror story (like lobotomy is) later on. I'm hoping we're not harming people instead of helping them.
Reality doesn't change because of our beliefs. I will never turn the sky green with the power of hopeful thinking. I can't become a man or a neutral human either. My body is me and I am my body, there's no soul or essence inside. I may not like it, but it is me.
why are terfs all like "bodily autonomy!" and then they get pissed at people for trying to transition. seems kinda contradictory almost as if their ideals are built on irrational hatred rather than societal progress

Thinking about the gay panic law in america. Homophobia aside, it's just so insane to think about when you’re a woman.
I mean, women are supposed to deal with sexual harassment and sexual assault our whole life, like it's part of our job (one we didn’t sign up for). And suddenly you're telling me that there is an actual fucking law allowing men to lose their shit, to use violence in self defense when they get sexually harassed and sexually assaulted themselves? When the tables are turned on them?
Can you even imagine women being allowed this level of leniency and self preservation? To be legally authorized to use violence and even lethal force again a man because he made sexual advances to you that you didn’t want? That made you fear for your life?
If anything women doing this would be more legitimate because a man has more chances to physically defend himself successfully against another man, while it's not the case for women against men.
Men know about sa and sh. They know how much it sucks. They just don't think it matters when it happens to a woman, or that women were put on this earth to endure it.

Going to get sterilized next year if I can.
I have a range of arguments. But they better not tell me I'm too young for that, I'm older than my mom was when she had me.
All this news about the birth rate falling, am I supposed to be worried? I'm joyous. I hope it falls faster.

Sometimes I forget that in the name of fighting misogyny, I’m not fighting other girls. I shouldn’t be shaming them for being SO interested in making themselves pretty and obeying SO obliviously to the confines of patriarchy. I’m fighting a benevolent force that tells us what to do and wear.
That force is, well, misogyny.
Makeup is makeup. It can also exist on its own, at least that’s how I’d like to view it. Drag makeup, fantasy makeup, etc. makeup is not inherently ‘girl’. It’s just an object, an activity you can choose to do. It’s existed for decades. Men even wore makeup back then. Beauty wasn’t necessarily feminine…. I don’t know why it is now though.
Men can’t even actually appreciate makeup in all its beauty and delicacy anyway. So why am I doing it for them, or doing it at all??

I will never get over how fucked up it is to give little girls baby dolls. She’s a baby and you’re already teaching her to prioritize others over herself. She doesn’t even get to be a child in childhood

all the posts about megan fox and sabrina carpenter getting cheated on being in utter shock that this would happen to women like them. because they’re too beautiful and they’re exactly what men want and how could this happen? as if it has ever mattered whether you’re the perfect woman or not. men are now calling sidney sweeney and margot robbie “mid”. it’s a waste of your whole lives as women to try to reach their standards. they’ll want to fuck you one second and they’ll hate you the next, no matter how hard you try. looking beautiful to them means nothing.

I'm not even a radfem and it makes me sad. Tired, too.
Can't claim to be a feminist if you hate women.
Oh you’re a radical feminist? Wooow I couldn’t tell from how much time you spent sending hate messages to other women online and bullying women for their looks because they still do makeup! I couldn’t tell from how you shame prostituted women and sex trafficking survivors for being in that position in the first place! I couldn’t tell from how you call women in heterosexual relationships degrading names like ‘cock servant’! I couldn’t tell because you don’t actually give a fuck about issues that affect women until it gives you an excuse to harass women!!!

Damn, maybe I should check radblr even less than I do. Who the fuck does that? We're not supposed to add to their misery.
My biggest flex is that I don’t attack radfems who, shocker, still feel the effects of the patriarchy!!! like why would i spread hate to women who are radfeminists just because they ‘go against radfem principles’ by… having literal mental illnesses??? like the way radfems on here and other radfem sites will shit on radfems with EDs is fucking insane like you might as well not call yourself a feminist if you don’t even understand how beauty standards negatively affect women. like actually braindead

I wish I could say "my brothers would not let this happen to me." I really wish I could.
But these women probably have brothers too.
