Team Natsu went with Juvia on a mission. For another reward, the mayor let them sleep in a hotel and everyone sleeps in different rooms.

Natsu:*sneaks out of Lucy's room*

Juvia:*sneaks out of Gray's room*

Natsu:... *whispers* Juvia?

Juvia:... *whispers* Natsu-san?

Jellal:*sneaks out of Erza's room*

Natsu and Juvia:... Where did you come from?

Jellal:... *whispers* Well... I just visited this town and... When I saw you guys, I thought about talking with Erza

Juvia:But, why didn't you wanted to talk to with us?

Jellal:... What are you two doing here? This is Lucy's room and this Gray's room

Juvia:Juvia and Gray-sama were just... Talking

Jellal:Is this his necklace around your neck?

Juvia:*covers his necklace* No

Natsu:Lucy and I were just talking

Silence

Juvia:We don't believe each other, right?

Jellal and Natsu:Nope

"You cannot do this, Natsu!" Lucy whisper-yells at him, dragging him inside the dressing room before anyone notices. She slams the door shut behind her and heaves a sigh.

"Do what?" Natsu gives her a look as he puts his shirt on, his muscles flexing. The celestial mage quickly averts her eyes before the slayer can catch her staring and goes over to the locker, so he doesn't see her red face.

As Lucy takes new clothes out from the locker, she says in low tone, "You can't barge into the ladies changing room, what if someone saw you?!" Turning around, the blonde tries to make her point with a glare.

The pinkette makes a face, "Wanted to make sure that you weren't too upset to talk to me." He confesses. And Lucy has to clear her throat to suppress the small smile that threatened to show at his words.

"WELL, I am mad at you!" She informs, "You embarassed me in front of everyone today!" Lucy huffs her frustration aloud, crossing arms over her chest. Natsu just shrugs.

"Oh c'mon, Luce, I've seen every inch of your body," the fire mage reasons, "also nothing I haven't touched--" Mortified, Lucy clamps her hand over his mouth before he can go any further with his misleading words.

What if someone hears him? No one will ever take her as a bride! Lucy scowls, "Natsu! Don't say that," then releases him and steps away. Natsu rolls his eyes at her, "Again being a weirdo."

"You know what, At this point, NOBODY is going to marry me!" Hands on her hips, the key mage tries to explain her concern. Natsu chooses to ignore her words completely. Puts a towel over her head and starts drying her hair, while Lucy stares at him.

"Can't believe it, such an idiot. Ignoring me now!" She grumbles. Completely missing his grin. However, she does hear him a few seconds later, "Wasn't planning on letting you marry anybody else anyways."

Long time no see

This one’s been sitting in procreate for a few months and I’m only now revising and starting to like it, Happy October ☆⌒(＞。≪)

(still contemplating Natsu’s face but hey at least my dearest Lucy is cute)

Quick Analysis

The scene where Porlyusica tells Lucy to strip so she can warm Natsu up, there's actually a lot of weight to that.

In the manga : Porlyusica says that warming Natsu up with body heat is the last option. People tend to forget the dialogue right after that-

We have to believe in the miracles that human warmth and human emotions can bring...

Porlyusica emphasizes on the warmth and emotions of a human, understands Natsu and Lucy's bond and she believes in the strength of Lucy's feelings for Natsu. Porlyusica knows that Lucy's warmth can bring back Natsu. Hence, the naked cuddling has much more significance to it than mere fanservice.

It mainly focuses on their relationship from Lucy's side. It shows just how much Natsu matters to her, and that she's willing to be in a vulnerable state for him anytime. Her feelings are put to the test and ultimately it succeeds.

What's interesting to me is however, the animated version :

The Japanese version directly mentions the word love instead of emotion. That Lucy's feelings for Natsu is love.

So does the official dub version-

To keep him alive! He needs the warmth. He needs to feel it. Your love. Honestly, we need a miracle right now.
