Hey, I don't know if you're still taking asks, but in as much detail as possible, how would Levi react around his crush?

hello! and i am still taking asks, so if you do want to request again, ask~!

levi would try and deny the feelings he has for the other (in the beginning). most tend to think that he would become embarrassed or something like that, but he wouldn’t. he would try his best to push them out of his thoughts as much as possible. levi has already realized that–especially considering he’s a corporal in the military and he has a dark past–he looses lots of people around him. considering he has feelings for the other person, he would try his best and distance himself from him. (for example, if the said person asked levi about something, levi would probably cross his arms and avoid eye contact, making his answer short and curt so he could distance himself.) levi would try his best to deny the feelings he has developed, basically.

after a while, i feel like levi would come to the realization that he does in fact have feelings for the other, but he probably wouldn’t know how to act. when i refer to act, i mean “in-a-way-that-the-other-isn’t-intimidated-and-knows-he-likes-them”. c’mon, levi is a pretty intimidating guy–he glares a huge majority of the time, and his speech doesn’t really help with the whole “intimidating factor”.

(look at that expression–pretty nonchalant… non-caring.) anyway, levi would probably try and learn their likes and dislikes, probably listening on to their conversations (in a non-stalker way, of course), and try his best to learn about them.

i feel like levi would try and hold conversations with his crush, whether they be small talk or full-on convos. he’d knowingly drop things into the conversation that his crush likes so he could see his crushes expression light up. levi would always try and have his crush around him–say he was assigning people to clean the headquarters, levi would make sure his crush cleaned a section near him–as much as possible.

when levi confessed, however, it wouldn’t be smooth, or charming, or anything of the sort. he’d probably end up insulting the other accidentally out of nervousness, and un-characteristically blush. he’d sigh heavily and stumble over his words, explaining how he liked them despite them being an idiot, or how he had no clue why he liked them but he did. the confession would be cute in an oddly weird way. he’d drop the question of them to be in a relationship with him, and when they agree, he’d hug them and smile happily.

i feel like these would be a few scenarios that would happen if levi would have a crush (so you sort of have some ideas if you need).

he wouldn’t understand the butterflies in his stomach when he sees his crush. he’d furrow his eyebrows and scowl, placing a hand absentmindedly on his stomach.

the tips of levi’s ears would heat up when he sees his crush, and he wouldn’t understand why it happened for the longest time; levi would glare in his crushes general direction, but when realized why he blushed, he would avoid his gaze and try to think of other things than his crush.

his gaze would linger on them, and he couldn’t help but always look at them when they’re in the room.

he’d never insult them, well try to that is. when he was trying to deny his feelings, he’d be grumpier and rude towards them, but would gradually start complimenting them. say the crush was cleaning, he’d glance over their work and tell their work was “fine and/or acceptable”.

he’d always mention their name when they’re talking about good soldiers, always saying how they aren’t “shit at everything” or something like that.

he’d always keep a watchful eye on them, just so he knows they’re safe.

Thx @dirtylevi for giving me the idea of drawing ponytail-Levi, the animation is extra! Second time ever animating anything, so there’s a lot of issues but I’m too damn tired to spend anymore time on it for now. Also bare chest because I couldn’t be bothered to animate clothing as well. enjoy!

Here’s something cute

When lockdown happened in the UK it happened very suddenly. At the law firm I work at, our office building emptied overnight when everyone was told to work from home. No time to clear our desks, no time to bring office plants home.

Fast forward three and a half months - everyone assumes that their plants are dead.

But then! An email goes round! It’s turns out that one of our security guards is a florist, and -

-the security team has moved EVERY SINGLE PLANT from all 12 FLOORS of our office building into the cafeteria. It’s been turned into a temporary greenhouse. Cacti and succulents and spider plants and terrariums and potted ferns

AND! Each plant has been INDIVIDUALLY LABELLED by hand with post-it notes with name and desk location so the plants can go home after lockdown ends

To give some indication of the scale of the endeavour:

The plants are being taken care of tenderly. They get sun and water and are spending happy times with other plant friends
