AlienMomo AU incoming info dump!

-The alien species Momo father originates from are called the Grey's. Their species used to be very empathic and gentle beings, but thousands of years of war has caused them to change drastically. In order to better fight and protect themselves, the Grey's closed off their emotions, sometimes by personal choice or by experiencing a traumatic event.

Over the generations they lost the ability to feel permanently. Even if they managed to give birth to a green alien, the child would quickly turn grey, unable to deal with their short lived emotions.

-So the Grey's only solution was to try and find another species to breed into, one that had many emotions and strong fortitude, and it turns out that humans are the perfect fit.

-It's because Momo is half human she is able to recover from her Greystate, when she feels no emotions. This makes her VERY valuable to the her father's species, but not all of them have good intentions.

-There is a sect of the Grey's called the Pale, Albino versions of the Grey's who went insane instead of emotionless. They feed off the energy that intense emotions produce and would love to get their hands on Momo and make her scream.

-Thankfully Momo's uncle is secretly looking after her, keeping her hidden from the rest of his species at the request of Momo's missing mom and dad.
