thinking of you 🌼🌸🌺🪷🪻🌹🌷💐🌼 <3
💗💗💗 this made me feel so good, thank you! I'm thinking of you too, truly!
I haven't really been on tumblr for the past few months for various reasons (and non-reasons) and I'm not sure how much that will change in the future but if you (or anyone) would like to keep in touch on discord, send me a DM and I'll give you my username! I'm much more active there lately!

the year is ending. the rash on my face is gone, though pain and itching persist. I take a lot of naps these days. my husband's new job is going well. I'm looking forward to mass tonight. I went to the desert museum yesterday. my cats are sleepy. I won't stay up til midnight but I still want to drink some sparkling cider. I feel ready for 2024, and at the same time completely unprepared. but Jesus walks with me and that's all I could really ask for.

Me, screaming and crying: "WHY DOES EVERYTHING KEEP CHANGING WHY IS EVERY MOMENT FULL OF LOSS IM SO TIRED"
God, dragging me around by my hair and banging me against walls: "IM SORRY BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CONSTANCY. EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT FROM ONE MILLISECOND TO THE NEXT. BUT ALSO ALL THE ATOMS THAT EXIST HAVE ALWAYS EXISTSTED. EVERYTHING THAT WILL EVER HAPPEN HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. NONE OF IT IS LINEAR. I LOVE YOU AND I CANNOT PROTECT YOU FROM THIS"

my husband got the job! he starts in a couple of weeks. his current supervisor was incredibly supportive of his decision to take the new position. I can't express how grateful I am for all of your prayers. God is good and we are so blessed!
please pray for my husband. he's under a lot of stress and really struggling, and there's not much I can do to help besides emotionally support him and pray for him. it's hard to see him in pain like this.

Does the Catholic Church reject transsexual individuals?
The Church doesn’t reject any individuals. People with gender dysphoria are people who need grace and charity like any other people. They are broken by a fallen world, as is everyone. Like everyone, they are called to change their lives to conform to God’s plan for them. And like everyone, that means taking up their Cross every day.
The big Christan story is the same for everyone. It’s the details that change for each person. God offers salvation to everyone. The only person who can’t be saved is the one who rejects the offer of salvation–perhaps because he denies the need to be saved, or because he likes to think his sins so great they can’t be forgiven, or because he likes the sin itself. Those with gender dysphoria aren’t rejected by God or the Church, because nobody is.
