this blog was never meant to be used for this

but my sister is in a dangerous situation with our birth mother

who abused and molested us as children and was CONVICTED. (let off with a plea deal.) 

My sister caNNOT afford to leave and before we can call the cops we HAVE to make sure she is out safe, and I cannot afford to help her AT ALL. My living situation right now, she cannot stay here, we have already tried–and the two nearest homeless shelters and group homes have waiting lists. And I am so desperate, we both are, I promised to ask here on Tumblr for help

The situation is very complicated please, please, this is so serious, I cannot express it enough. I don’t know what more to say. It’s terrifying— 

there is an underage girl, no relation to her or us, living there illegally too, as our birth mother is on the sex offenders list and cannot legally have minors there. My sister has also just informed me the girl is being beaten, but is too scared to testify so we are trying our best here. We have evidence of horrendous living conditions already, and are working on getting recordings and such in secret. However, we have got to get my sister out SAFE before we call the cops. If we don’t have enough money in time we will STILL CALL ofc, definitely by the end of next week, but we really don’t want to risk my sister getting hurt for as long as we can–and unfortunately we need proof the underage girl is living there before we take action, which we are currently trying to gather, or our birth mother will just deny it and again we canNOT risk anything at this point. She has denied it in the past and has gotten off so we cannOT RISK IT, i mUST repeat that. When we call the police the girl will be safe, as she will be taken by Social Services. 

Please, I know posts like these are unfortunately common, and I can’t express in any words that this is in NO WAY a scam, I don’t know what more to do or say than that, but we are desperate and have very little time now

I know it may seem a LOT unbelievable, it is to us despite it being all too real, but it is, and i don’t know what more to say than that

I hope I eventually get to read some comics with more of this side of Gwen Poole. I know she’ll never be exactly the same under different writers, but I hope at least some of this essence can come through from her in future books. Because she is so much more than just a poor man’s Deadpool knock-off, both in terms of her personality and in terms of her powers. This relatable sweetheart is the character I love. Seeing her without the heart and charm that she developed over time just makes me miss her even more.
