I know we all know that Qimir is a simp for Osha, but I don鈥檛 think we鈥檝e all realized how extremely horrendously viciously down bad he actually is.

Bc this scene is so interesting, right? I need you all to let it sink in that Qimir had all the opportunity here post-Sol to rush to his ship and far away from Vernestra as he possibly could, he had ample time to escape this planet, especially since he technically had no reason to stay.
But nah. Instead of escaping from the Jedi and Vernestra, Qimir still turned to find Osha considering that she rejected his offer of being his pupil twice and he came back for her anyway.

The sexiest part ab this oshamir moment?
Tumblr media
It鈥檚 not the slutty thumb rubbing. Or even the greater significance of him accepting her hand and she his. It鈥檚 the fact that he presented the saber to her with the lethal side facing himself rather than pointed at her

I don't understand the hate for The Acolyte because, honestly, I found it amazing. The whole premise of the show is to highlight the idea of 'what we see is not always the truth'. Everyone knows the Jedi are good, and we are supposed to root for them. But what if they weren't that perfect to begin with? What if the heroes we thought were like Superman were actually more like Homelander? That kind of theme is very clever because it represents real life.
I watched some reaction videos, and some of the reactors said things like, "I don't know who I should root for! I wasn't emotionally connected to the characters!" Well, that's proof that the show delivered its theme very well. Usually, people are rooting for the Jedi, but by the end of the show, you find yourself asking, "What if the Sith weren't actually bad? What if they had to be bad to defend themselves because the Jedi made up rules and forced everyone to follow them? If you don't, they kill you in the name of 'goodness and justice.'" Look at what Sol has done in the name of goodness and protecting children! Remind me again, what was he protecting them from to begin with?
In episode 8, Senator Reyincourt pointed out the flaw in the Jedi system perfectly by saying, "The Jedi are a massive system of unchecked power, posing as a religion. A delusional cult that claims to control the uncontrollable鈥攏ot the Force, but your emotions. You project an image of goodness and restraint, but it's only a matter of time before one of you snaps. And when, not 'if,' that happens, who will be strong enough to stop him?" Thus, he suggested establishing an "external review committee for the Jedi." No one knows how many atrocities they will find later!
Plus, the show has great acting and outstanding action scenes. Yes, there are some loopholes and nitpicks here and there, but overall, it's fantastic.
