The ages old saying, " Red sky at morning, sailor take warning... Red sky at night, sailor's delight" is a very apt warning that a front of inclement weather is approaching. This morning sunrise was a balmy late winter mid March with the most vivid, deeply defined red skies I've ever seen with a band of Cirrus Stratos leading the soon to experience 60mph wind, frigid air and horizontal driving snow six hours later. All in a day of Chicagoland weather!
