KAYE’S TOURISM TRAVEL DIARY
Japan consists of 6, 852 islands. Japanese people don't use English much, only some can fluently speak English. Yet they are friendly and hospitable at the same time. Their busy place was quiet. They were trained in discipline and cleanliness. In the city of Osaka you can see many street food and restaurants and also small shopping areas. Japan has four seasons: summer, spring , autumn and winter. One fact about Japan is that when you take trains you will be deaf by the silence of the people. Everybody was quiet and no one dared to speak. That’s how they are disciplined.
My experience in Japan was challenging. October 23, 2019 is our flight to Japan. It was autumn at that time. Arriving in Japan hits so different because as you leave the airport the cold breeze will refresh you. When it comes to food you can see many varieties of Japanese food, they never fail me to their taste, especially the famous Ichiran Ramen. Even in their restaurants it is full of silence and you can enjoy your food. My tour in Japan is full of amazing memories because I’ve never experienced them in my life. It’s challenging because it’s hard to communicate with Japanese people. One tip that you should always remember when travelling is that you should be ON TIME, because we experience being left by the bus we are riding in touring by ourselves. So the story goes like this. We’re on our way to Osaka castle, we arrive there immediately and we were told to be back on time and it’s the last bus to travel. So we went to Osaka Castle, then we had limited time because we were catching up on the bus travel. Once we got back we saw our bus leaving. There the challenge starts, we find a train station because we had this free ticket that we got from our tourist agency. So we asked for help from a student and she gladly helped us and we arrived safely in our hotel. I love the streets in Japan. It's so clean. We also went to Kyoto to see those tall bamboo trees and we also headed to Nara Park, where we fed many deers. Before we head to another destination we have the chance to eat in a fancy Japanese restaurant, they will serve you chicken balls with soup and other varieties of Japan traditional food. We even went to Fushimi Inari Shrine where you can see tons of orange pillars. All I do in Japan is to buy food. It may sound funny but their food always bothers me to buy them.I love their traditional rice cakes. They taste sweet though. There is this store which sells a bunch of bento and you can also get what you want because there is a tray of bento and it’s your choice to get your food, it was surprisingly cheap, everyone can afford it. We also went to Umeda, the 173m tall business park building. When you get on the top of the building you will see many padlocks with couples' names on it, and also when you get from the top you will be amazed by the view with the cold wind. On this trip you will not forget how nice Japan was and you will be in love with their culture. After travelling in Japan I was addicted to watching anime and I’m craving for their ramen. You better try it out when you go to Japan.
