Ultraman season idea I'd really like to see: a season where the ultra is a civilian from the land of light who is visiting earth in another universe for some reason* and ends up trapped there and cut off from contact with the Land of Light while Earth is under some big threat and has to rise to the occasion and get good at fighting to help save the humans from a threat they can't handle by themselves.

*my personal idea is that they are a civilian scientist who studies the differences in kaiju that live on Earths in different universes. They don't have a host, they have their own human form. And their civilian identity is as a kaiju biologist. They get recruited by the season's Earth defense team for their kaiju expertise. To make up for their lack of fighting skills they have to be clever and use their scientific knowledge and really team up with the defense force to save the day every week.

I think it would be really funny to have gags where the other team members speculate on the biology and behavior of the mysterious humanoid light creature that keeps helping them right in front of the season's ultraman. And I think an interesting theme would center on the ultra feeling isolated and scared of what the team will do if they find out that they are ultraman because the team doesn't fully trust ultraman and don't really know what they are in this season because they (and beings like them) don't exist at all in this universe so even other aliens don't know what they are. I've thought about this story concept a lot. I just want a season where we can explore a character who could give us insight into the Land of Light!!!!!
