Roman villa in Sirmione
The second-best surviving example of a Roman private home throughout northern Italy is that villa, a park in which an archeological complex extends on 5 acres. However, it is not a grotto, nor was it ever part of Catullus. While Catullus, the former Roman poet, whose family came from Verona, was in Sirmion, there is no reason to indicate that his villa was in reality this large old house on the end of the peninsula of Sirmione.
For one thing, it was probably constructed after his death sometime in the first century BC on top of some underwater caves with some of Garda's hot springs. After its best known ancient Roman resident, the city simply decided to name its most famous Roman Ruins. The archaeological site of Grotte di Catullo was misnamed as the romanticized ruins in a bird song twittering olive grove seemed like an underground network in the last few centuries. They can only be viewed on organized trips, some of which include decorating stuccos.

How to spend a night at San Gimignano
A few years ago I visited San Gimignano at night and instantly fell into love with its venue, its quaint and ancient walled city, its genuine Italian atmosphere. So I told Tim and I that after some stressful years we had to go to San Gimignano, and that we wanted to book a trip to Italy to rest and relive. And it was so wonderful and picturesque. I just wanted to convince him why this spot was so wonderful and picturesque, and was always waiting to introduce me to that amazing restaurant, my fellow-cousin.
We have a lot of curiosity in our Italian travel, so I will post a day-by-day diary of what we did and where we went. And you've come to the right location when you need those advice from San Gimignano.
After a 2-hour flight from Manchester we arrived in Pisa Airport and picked up our rental car we ordered from Maggiore a couple of weeks prior to our journey. Instead of choosing the cheapest version, we wanted to spend a little more money on the car because we wanted to feel safe on winding Tuscan highways. We finally got a genius and very luxury VW Golf.
The city is located in San Donato, about 15 minutes by drive from main town San Gimignano, we reached our property, Hotel Casolare Le Terre Rosse. It was just an hour and a half drive to the hotel from Pisa, but we took a bit longer to get there, because somewhere we wanted to stop. It was surprisingly easy to drive, but it is possible to drive on the other side of the road. We learned it at the beginning of the year as we visited the French Alps.
As we hadn't eaten since 6 a.m., we starved, so decided to go to Fattoria San Donato, a nearby vineyard that is 100 meters down our hotel lane. My cousin and I have visited this family-run fattoria in the past, and when we tasted wine, I remember being given a fantastic spread of cheese and anti pasta. So I informed Tim that we should go there to get some snacks. Only wine delicacies appeared to be offered on our arrival however, which was absolutely good for us, hey. I now sound like my cousin and last time I've booked a particular experience, so maybe call and inquire before you go.
The wine degustation was perfect. We tasted various wines from Fattoria San Donato, including white , red and dessert wines and santo, all delicious. The price for a bottle is also super-cheap – between EUR 7.50 – EUR 15. We returned to our hotel and enjoyed the beautiful pool area with a few Aperol Sprits, it was happiness. In the hotel, with only Aperol and Prosecco, they create the Aperol Spritz ... without the soda. I have to say that if you are a game to explore, this is the perfect way of performing Aperol Spritz. Yes, it's a little stronger, but it's flavoring!
We were more than ready for dinner after our relaxing, slightly tipy afternoon. In the hotel restaurant, which is in a beautiful courtyard, we decided to have dinner. Tim had a chicken salad, and I had some bread with Italian olive oil (like Italian food, olive oil best) and tasted some Italian white wine. I couldn't help but we couldn't help but enjoy it. We had a popular dessert drink, Cantucci and Vin Santo, which is a glass of almond biscotti vin santo, yum!

Some guy in an avengers Tshirt I just met at a coffee shop: so who's your favorite superhero?
Me too exhausted to explain there's more than one Robin: Batman
Guy: oh! Did you watch the Joker movie? It was surprisingly good for a DC film haha
Me: yeah it was something
Guy: you know they really fucked up on Justice League, but I've got to say Wonder Woman was better than Captain Marvel. Like, we get it, "yay girl power." That's great but it was so over the top. It totally ostracized half of it's audience.
Me: wow really
Guy: yeah. You know, you seem pretty chill. Maybe we could hang out sometime and watch some decent superhero movies? You know, Marvel movies haha
Me: i never asked, who's your favorite hero?
Guy: Iron Man. Like Batman but richer and cooler haha
Me: you know, Batman's rule? No killing?
Guy: yeah?
Me: i have no such rule. Lindsey, I found another one. My usual, please
Lindsey, the barista: *hands me my sword*
Guy: wow that's a poor replica of the God Killer blade, it should have more- *beheaded*
Me: thank god that's over
Lindsey: yeah. Hey want to watch Birds of Prey with me sometime?
Me: oh? You mean like as... a date?
Her: well yeah... is that okay?
Me: of course it's okay! all this time, all these years, i never knew you felt that way
Her: i don't keep a replica of Wonder Woman's sword under the counter for just anyone
Me: i never thought about it that way
Her: *writes her number on the forehead of dead guy* text me ;)
