what are we thinking in regards to rvb ships and what pets they would have?

im thinking grimmons has a cat and simmons is the one who got the cat and does all the responsibilities for the kitty, but the kitty likes grif more and cuddles with him all the time

docnut has a dog, probs a corgi, or smth silly OH LIKE A RETRIEVER, and Caboose comes over aaaaaall the time to play with it

docnut probably also have fishies, and like a really big aquarium and doc is suuuuuper into aquarium landscaping

lolix had a big dog, and locus got it in the divorce and felix is salty about it

(not a ship but) kai has a lot of pets, and not like. Default Settings pets, this girl has birds, shes got a skink, shes got a snake and tucker came over to fuck and was like "holy shit"

i don't think chex have a pet, so they're the ones everyone asks to petsit

anyways im gonna be that RvB fan: au where everyone dies on the staff of charon. they win but no one makes it off. in my mind its bc instead of being essentially cornered and having to fight their way out, they manage to either reach Hargrove or put up enough of a fight that instead of risking being taking into custody he chooses to go down with his ship and takes everyone else down with him. Or maybe they still fight in the trophy room and just get their shit rocked before backup got to them. Who knows. Not me. But either way none of the reds and blues make it off, and suddenly Wash and Carolina have to pick up the pieces a second time, this time without their ridiculous troopers causing them problems and getting in their way and making everything a million times harder. Suddenly everything they could've or ever would have needed to do is so much simpler...but its so much quieter, and they hate the lack of interruptions, and how seamless things seem. Its impossible to imagine a world without them. They cant begin to start over again, not a second time, not from the people who gave them a chance when they didnt deserve it.

chorus hails them as heroes but they would happily never have their names or the sim troopers names ever be uttered again on that planet if it meant they had them back. they wanted so badly to save it and now their bodies will rest on it forever.
