Heya guys, I would like to hear your opinion on something again.

Some people get tattoos after going through trauma as a sort of symbol of survival, strength etc. (e.g. the Medusa tattoo means you survived s*xual ab*se (I think))...and as we all know, Bucky Barnes, the former Winter Soldier, has been through a lot too...so imagine if he also got a tattoo (or several) to symbolize his survival, strength, etc., which one do you think he would get and with what meaning?

I'm curious to hear your thoughts, headcanons etc.😊

Okay, so I recently started playing the Professor Layton games again and I noticed a mistake. I know there are a lot of things that don't really make sense in the games, but this is about Inspector Chelmey. He appears in the very first Layton game (Curious Village) and also appears in the next two games (Diabolical/Pandora's Box & Lost/Unwound Future). However, he also appears in Azran Legacy, which was the last game to be released. He really introduces himself in Diabolical/Pandora's Box, so the Professor and Luke know him personally from then on. All well and good, but they should have known him since Azran Legacy at the latest. Because although this game was the last to be released, it takes place before Curious Village. As an illustration, here is the timeline with the approximate years of release:

- Last Spectre/Spectre's Call (2011)

- Eternal Diva (2011) (Movie)

- Miracle Mask (2012)

- Azran Legacy (2013)

- Curious Village (2008)

- Diabolical/Pandora's Box (2009)

- Lost/Unwound Future (2010)

So do the Professor, Luke, the Inspector etc. all suffer from amnesia or why don't they remember each other? I realize it has to do with the first game not playing first, but why didn't the developers just leave him out of the newer parts? Like Flora, for example?

What are your thoughts on this? Have you noticed any other continuity errors? Or am I mabye wrong?

Winter Soldier x Red Room/Widow Reader

Hey guys, here's a little "story snippet" from a story I invented (no I won't post the story, because I only invent/image them, but don't write them down, only snippets and/or fundamental (?) information 😅, sorry). I still hope you enjoy it.

P.S. English isn't my first language, so please excuse any wrong grammar.

Sidenote: The Winter Soldier is not always in 100%-Killer-mode but like when he kills the girls, he is 100%-Killer-mode/completely emotionless/Hydra has full control over him.

Plot: Saskia (or whatever name you want to give her, in my stories the "Main OC" always has this name😅) is a 9-year-old girl, that lives in the Red Room, around the 1950s (like Dottie from Agent Carter). One day Hydra shows up with the Winter Soldier and a group of 10-15 Widows from the age 9 and up, with different body types (weight, height etc.) and different training stages get selected to fight or rather survive him in 1-to-1-combat. They all must survive at least 5 minutes, if they step of the practice mat, they get immediately killed, the order of the Widows is random.

Saskia comes last, while being the least trained Widow, the lightest and smallest; she is about 4’0”/1,21m tall, the Winter Soldier about 6’0”/1,83m (so she reaches about to his belly). Due to her small form, everyone thinks she will die quickly, but to their surprise is she the only Widow to survive the 5 minutes, which makes her the only winner of the challenge. Her advantage was her intelligence and that she went last, because with that she was able to see the others mistakes (and some small successes) and learn the Winter Soldiers fighting style and behavior pattern. So instead of attacking him, she blocked his attacks, mostly ducked away and hid behind him, cause she only had to survive, not beating him. After her success, Hydra took her with them, so that the Winter Soldier could train her (she might also get the serum). During her time at the Hydra base, she shares a room with the Winter Soldier (they sleep in bunk beds). One night the Winter Soldier hears her tossing and turning around, while she’s crying half asleep.

S = Saskia (or whatever name you gave her), WS = Winter Soldier/Bucky, "..." = spoken text, *...* = actions/events (you will get it when you read it)

S: * tossing and turning in bed & crying half asleep*

WS: *getting up from the bunk bed, pulling Saskia out of bed & into his arms, one hand covering her mouth to muffling her sobs* "Shhhhh, don't let them hear you...if you must cry, do it silently...be emotionless, make them believe they broke you..."

S: *whimpers & tries to break free from his grip*

WS: *whispering in her ear* “No need to fight me…I won’t hurt you…please, just hide your feelings…they have to think they have the control…”

S: *sobs fade & tries saying something*

WS: *takes hand from her mouth*

S: *still crying a bit* "I-I ca-can't..."

WS: "Yes, you can...you need to, or they will take control...and trust me, you don't want that...use that brain of yours and do what you always did; survive and try to escape!"

S: "I'm tired of it...I-I can't anymore...” *sobs*

WS: *turns her around, to look at her, slowly caressing her cheek* "You need to..." *tear runs down his cheek*

S: “I don’t want to be a killer…”

WS: “Neither do I…but we keep have to go on these missions, to have a chance to escape…”

S: “What’s the point of escaping if you leave corpses behind to do it?”

WS: “Kill those that deserve it if you must and let those escape that don’t deserve to die…but don’t make it to obvious, or else they will wipe you and make you a killer.”

S: “That’s not possible…”

WS: *looking down, regretting what he said, because he's not able to do it either* “I know…”

S & WS: *tears run down their faces*

S: “So there’s no escape? They will make us kill innocent people?! I’m already having nightmares and I didn’t kill anyone yet…how should I get over it, if I finally do?”

WS: “I don’t know…but we at least need to try to get away…”

S: *cries into his shoulder* “Why was I so dumb and survived the challenge?”

WS: *hugs her tight* “To give me a reason not to give up…a new goal…”

S: *looks up to him confused* “What kind of goal?”

WS: “Keeping you safe…getting you out of here…”

S: “I thought it wasn’t possible?!”

WS: “Maybe, maybe not…but I will try…I promise…”

S & WS: *hugging each other & crying silently*

WS: *after a while, he lays back in bed with his little girl in his arms, hoping that someday they will get out of this hell*

Okay, that was dark and sad and at some point, sweet…I guess? So well, that was my “story snippet”, it’s up to you to decide, if they can escape or not. I hope that it makes some sense though.
