San Antonio — Questionnaires were sent out to all Judson Independent School District board candidates and here are their answers. Election day is May 4th and early voting begins Monday, April 22 and ends Tuesday, April 30.
Where were you were raised? How long have you lived in the district? I'm a proud Army brat as my late father was a 30-year career soldier in the U.S. Army. The majority of my childhood was spent on U.S. Army installations in Germany and Italy. I am a graduate of Wuerzburg American High School in Germany. I have lived in the JISD since 2008.

Voters on Saturday agreed to give new terms to incumbents running for reelection to school boards in Bexar County, but turned away several former trustees seeking their old seats.
The only exception was in Southside Independent School District, where incumbent trustees had been removed from power by a state takeover. The ones who ran again this year were defeated.

The 2019 election cycle will barely ripple outside of the Judson School District, where seven candidates will vie for three trustee seats.
The only Metrocom area city with council seats up for grabs May 4 is Universal City.
Relative unknown Angel L. Suarez will try to unseat one of three incumbents: S. Bear Goolsby, Richard “Dick” Neville and William R. Shelby. Universal City voters can cast ballots for three people, filling the three at-large seats up for election.
The new Judson ISD election cycle finds incumbent District 1 Trustee Suzanne Kenoyer unopposed in her re-election bid. District 1 encompasses northern sections of Live Oak and Universal City, as well as Selma and neighborhoods surrounding the TPC area in far northern San Antonio.
