“Mushrooms were the roses in the garden of that unseen world, because the real mushroom plant was underground. Acacia Quartet and I speak & play at this activism panel at Carriageworks this weekend. An honor to be telling stories of ACT UP’s bravery. Come celebrate and remember. I’m learning a lot in this 40th anniversary of the 1978 protest. Thank you Mardi Gras. https://buff.ly/2GpY6lZ

Deep, heartfelt thanks to Australia Council and the peers for funding this imaginative venture from ANAM. 100 years ago, Debussy died leaving his final project of 6 sonatas incomplete. There are no sketches, but he specified the 13 instruments in detail. So for ANAM to premiere throughout the 2018 Debussy Centenary, I am composing the 3 unwritten sonatas, to be performed alongside Debussy's own sonatas… no pressure!
