              There he stands above the young Rey, a woman who the Force seemed to envelop, clapping his hands in a manner that could awaken practically everyone else. But this was training. This is how it had to be.

              This is how his master did it.

              " If you hurry you can maybe grab something for breakfast. "

              " At this point I just expect anything to get attacked.               What exactly is this cargo if I'm allowed to ask. "

              There is a small laugh and a large smile from he as he tries to picture the wise old Master Yoda giving sage advice over why things are always trying to kill them. There is no dout that was a Padawan Gale would have found himself following with ease. Sure even now in his older state does he believe the Force has some say in their actions but he's a bit skeptikal in the fact that it's constantly tryingto kill them.

              " Well she's gotten over it before --- besides we have Malachor don't we? "

              Malachor. The name of the planet makes his bones TREMBLE. He has no idea why, not a clue. Could it be the vision he had? His Master's screams as she collasped to the floor, a figure standing above her. Both taunting him. Blaming him. His fault.

              He places a reassuring hand upon Kanan's shoulders, he's able to recognize now when the Jedi has had enough. They both knew they signing up for this rebellion was going to be a battle of constant lost, but no amount of training could have prepared them for this.

              " Don't worry my friend, Master Yoda wouldn't lead Ezra astray. Malachor will be our win I can feel it. "

               ❝ Honestly, man? I stopped trying to figure out why most things were trying to kill me a long time ago  ——  though I’m sure Master Yoda would try to use the Force as an excuse. ❞          Kanan almost scoffs out a laugh, but refrains… he’s tired, beyond tired, and while the initial jolt of excitement and wonderment due to ( finally ) experiencing his beknighting is still strong, that hadn’t done much in terms of sating his exhaustion and the fact that he hadn’t slept well ( as well as Kanan can get, at least ) in about a week. Gloves are pulled from his hands, tossed to the side, and palms begin to rub at tired eyes, a gentle exhale that could just be a breath or a yawn, parts lips before he’s speaking again.          ❝ Hera won’t like this. ❞          An unnecessary statement to verbally make, he’s certain they’re both aware of Hera’s displeasure when things like this go wrong.

              " How come whenever we go to a Jedi Temple these days it's always trying to kill us at one point? "

              He has yet to share with Kanan his own visions of what happened to him at the Temple. Choosing to not spoil his friend's long awaited knighthood nor the direction from Master Yoda that Ezra recieved. He has only recently decided to be more open with his usage of the Force ( still no lightsaber ) in both battle and out of it.

              And there is a large grin upon his face as he can feel his cheeks burn and his heart swell. To be complimented by none other than Master Kenobi is an honor. And not only was he complimented but so was his cherished Master Aia.

             " Thank you Master Kenobi. I hope too one day be as good with my blade as you and Master Aia. "

              he is a HUMBLE man, but he does kindly take the complement. there is no great legacy in his saber history, but he has no less than MASTERED classic form at the very least. he gives an incline of the head.
