The Turtle Of Calm
[ID: Small green stone turtle sitting on a rocky waterfront wall. In the background is a pier with a small tower, and 2 people in winter coats]
So, here’s the deal. If you don’t know me, I’m Jack - I’m a disabled artist, and usually I make pendants. Unfortunately, the Royal Mail had a cyber attack that took out international shipping… and basically closed down my entire business.
I’m hoping that will come back soon but “soon” is dragging on and in the meantime, I still have bills to pay and dragons to feed.
So I’ve enlisted the help of the Turtle Of Calm. He has adventures, I photograph them, and they become wallpapers.
Right now I have 34 wallpapers up for grabs, or a bundle of 27 at a discount.
[ID: Collage of small green stone turtle having adventures in nature - examining a bright orange leaf, and seaweed, standing on stones, walking on ice.]
I did a little Turtle Maths.
5 bundles/100 wallpapers = Keeps the immediate bills paid.
50 bundles = Bills and rent paid for a month.
And just because it’s fun to dream… 500 bundles = Fix my whole life.
So I’m putting myself out there to the universe. Brighten up your desktop or lockscreen, and take home a tiny adventure.

I don’t think I posted my most recent bundle, did I? This one is all Portsmouth - up and down the seafront, mostly on that little strip of beach behind Square Tower. One of my favourite places to visit.
The bundle has already been snapped up to brighten up a couple of desktops, you can join in the tiny adventures here.

Brain, what?
[Collage of small green stone turtle exploring - examining plants, on mosaics, on a rainbow welcome mat]
So, I have a lot of absurdly vivid dreams, the kind that seem real at the time.
Last night I dreamed someone brought all 5 of the wallpaper bundles at once, and left a note that just said:
***TURTLE***
It was realistic enough I was checking my phone for notifications when I got up. But brain… what?

Tiny Adventures For All!
Good morning Tumblr! Have you heard the word of the tiny turtle?
[ID: 2 small stone turtles, 1 green, 1 grey, on the wavy back of a wooden bench]
Everything’s an adventure when you’re only an inch and a half high, and these little guys have been out exploring the world. (And by world, I mean Hampshire.)
[ID: 2 photos. 1st: Small green stone turtle on patch of white ice, walking towards a dirty bank. 2nd: Small green stone examining a pure white feather caught on a hedge.]
From the hard freeze in January to this month’s rainstorms, Turtle of Calm has seen it all!
From just $2 you can take home a Tiny Adventure wallpaper, ready to brighten up your desktop and lockscreen. Or grab a bundle and get a big discount.

[Small dark green stone turtle looking up at a white feather caught on a green bush in the rain]
118 wallpapers.
4 bundles (and a mini-bundle).
1 long weekend in May…
It’s been a rough few months, but I’m still hopeful I can turn things around. I’m in that “Don’t castlebuild, but don’t give up hope” zone, and still keeping my fingers crossed for one last minute miracle.
The more people who see this, the more people will take home a tiny adventure of their own, and the more chance I have of getting back on my feet.
So go out into the world, tiny turtle, go make new friends!
