hi, great smau! however … i wonder if you took inspiration from summertime madness, another fairly popular tsukasa smau? the plot is almost scarily similar to that one, so i was wondering if you were, since you don’t have anything listed in your masterlist.

wait ok so i did read summertime madness like years ago but i forgot about it by the time i came up with the idea for my smau 😭 i liked the idea of tsukasa and academic rival trope in my head for weeks but then i rediscovered summertime madness and i was worried cuz the plots were similar but then i realized iirc that one isn't as school oriented and more idol oriented so i went ahead with posting

i did end up taking a little bit of inspo once i realized the plot would be similar because it was my first smau and lowk idk how to write that well so yeah ill def mention it in my masterlist thanks for pointing it out !! sorry it looked like i was directly copying it for a minuteSJDJSS

i think early on i took a bit of inspo and then i just decided to be on my own after the first few chapters so now looking back i do realize some things are kinda similar holyshit😭😭 i had no idea what i was thinking back then

Before the war, I had a peaceful life filled with hope – a beautiful family, a home, a car, and two small shops where we sold clothes. I was studying at university, surrounded by friends and a community that made my world feel complete.

But everything changed when the war struck. It took everything from us. We fled our home in the north of Gaza and now live in a tent in the south, struggling every day for the basic necessities of life—water, food, medical care. The tents offer no protection from the elements, and we’ve been living in unimaginable conditions for over 400 days.

Our money ran out after 13 months of enduring these hardships. I have no job, and my father, who went to Egypt for heart surgery, can’t return. As the eldest son, I now carry the responsibility of supporting my family while caring for him from afar.
