Despite the small pout he dared to perform for her, in the end it only lasted a second as he immediately burst out into laughter. ❝ haha ! I see, I see. Not something I was expecting, not when you looked like someone who was born with a hand over the steering wheel. ❞ He jests. Perhaps in a past life, she could have been a truck driver with that decisiveness she sported... Well, not that it mattered at this point, yet it remained as a small lingering amusing thought he decided to keep to himself as he exchanged a smile.

❝ No, it's quite alright. For fast rides, I believe I might have had my fair share of them already. To think that one day I would come to find myself indifferent to certain luxuries I could have only dreamed of as a kid. The 'thrill' behind them has been lost somewhere I can't seem to track for the time being. It seems that I've now grown fond of finding it elsewhere ..❞ Thrill.. An interesting word to use considering that what he's been looking for has been something quite mundane in comparison to the shine and glamour he's grown to be accustomed to.

With such a frank answer, there wasn't much he could do but offer an earnest hand shake and a wave of his hat before returning back to the train station where he's come from, yet Aventurine has been blessed with a decisive type of perseverance, and granted something that; albeit all the hurt that has brought him, has never truly broken into irreparable pieces deep inside his heart.

"So if it was a tractor ride you were hoping for, I'm afraid I can't provide. All I can do is direct you elsewhere. But if you are willing, there are other things you could ride. Scooters, for example, are quite popular these days."
