Chiaki playing the role of Nami during a "ONE PIECE: Spectacle Stage" at Jump Festa 2002 in December 2001. Chiaki Inaba never was a "cosplayer" as is believed in the fandom, she was a model and tarento who acted as Nami for the first official ONE PIECE stages in Jump Festa 2002 (2001) to 2004 (2003).

Eiichiro Oda and Chiaki Inaba married on November 7, 2004. They have had two daughters, the eldest was born in mid-2005.

Chiaki Inaba (稲葉ちあき, Inaba Chiaki), Eiichiro Oda's wife and Nami (ナミ, Nami), Female character from ONE PIECE. Chiaki Inaba, a former model and actress born on January 4, 1978 in Kanagawa, Kanto, Japan, was a stage actress as Nami for Jump Festa festival stage show "ONE PIECE Spectacle Stage"  (ワンピーススペクタクルステージ, Wanpīsu supekutakuru sutēji) ,since 2001 through 2003. 28-years old Oda met her during in one of these performances in Jump Festa 2004 held in the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in late december 2003. Chiaki never was a cosplayer, she was active as model, promoter and actress. Chiaki Inaba being called a "cosplayer" by the fandom is misinformation, she and Oda also didn't meet in 2002, it was in December 2003, when the Jump Festa 2004 was held. Between 1999 and 2004, Inaba was well known for her appearances on television and in modeling and clothing magazines in Japan.

Oda and Inaba have been married since november 7, 2004 and they have had two daughters, the first was born on mid- 2006 and the second in 2009.

Chiaki Inaba (稲葉ちあき), (born Kanagawa prefecture, Kantō, Japan, January 4, 1978) is Eiichiro Oda's wife. Inaba is a former model and actress from 1990s to 2004. Oda, at the age of 28, met her in December 2003 during "ONE PIECE Spectacle Stage: Operation Luffy Pirates Destruction"  (ルフィ海賊団壊滅作戦, Rufi kaizoku-dan kaimetsu sakusen) a stage show for JUMP FESTA 2004 where 25-years old Inaba played Nami as actress.

 After this first meeting in late 2003, they had a courtship for one year before they married.

Eiichiro Oda married Chiaki Inaba on November 7, 2004. They are parents of two daughters. Chiaki Inaba gave birth to a daughter in mid-2006, making Eiichiro Oda a father for the first time. Three years later, Oda and Inaba aged 34 and 31 respectively, welcomed a second daughter born sometime in 2009.
