Ships aren’t food, they’re not exercise, they’re not even a nonfiction book or a classic novel. A steady diet of LGBT+ ships with no age or power gap won’t make you emotionally or mentally any healthier. It won’t teach you about how actual relationships work and it won’t prevent you from getting into an unhealthy relationship.
Unhealthy ships won’t ruin you. They won’t corrupt you, they won’t destroy your understanding of actual healthy relationships or erode your morality.
Your fictional diet isn’t your actual diet. There’s no organic vegan gluten-free ship that will fix a single goddamn thing.
Relax. Enjoy yourself. Read whatever fiction fascinates you, tantalizes you, engages you. The content doesn’t matter much for your health, but the joy it brings you might.
Naturally, Lance is the sniper. So I gave him goggles which probably have tech things in them that make it easier to spot the target. With him having the blue lion badge, Lance is known for his cunning ways, charismatic charm and never ending wit. Many doubt his profession as one of the best snipers in the world, yet no one could even think to doubt it when he falls into the zone and truly focuses all his attention onto thst one target. Lance doesn’t often shoot to kill. He normally shoots to harm and slow the target down.
Shiro’s outfit is more indulgent than anything else but I like the thought of him more being the type of Assassin/hit man/blackmailer that would work his way into the target’s life, hence the rather plain clothing. People often comment on his seemingly stoic, yet interchangeable personality and wonder how he’s able to charm his way into a person of power’s life yet he does it with such fluidity that Shiro is never short of a job. With the black lion badge, respect is commanded in silence and trying to dodge out on a deal normally ends with a sniper trained onto them.
But it’s option to interpretation and I’ll probably change it up a bit!
Normally I don’t like bringing this up, but: Tumblr is making it increasingly difficult for writers and artists to get their posts to show up in tags and searches, meaning that our fics and art are being exposed to fewer people.
Yes, it’s still possible to get posts to show up, but in the case of the search function, it’s only if they have no links - not even links to other Tumblr posts. For people like me who include links to other chapters in my fic so readers can get caught up on chapters they might miss, this is a huge problem. I basically have no choice but to include those links, or else I would make things massively inconvenient for my readers.
So why am I telling everyone this? Because this means reblogs are becoming more and more important to creators. With posts so difficult to find in searches and tags, reblogs are one of the few other ways for people to find new artists or writers.
You’re under no obligation to reblog my stuff, of course, but I want to put it out there why reblogs are so important to those of us who write/draw/create content.
(Also: While I’ve personally verified the stuff that’s going on with searches, I have no clue what’s going on with tags. Some of my stuff is showing up there, some isn’t, seemingly with little correlation to the links included. So tags might not be quite as strict, but they do seem to be less consistent.)
