"That's very true. I feel like everyone gets caught up in some kind of relationship drama. It's bound to happen." Luke gave Issac a pat on the shoulder. "True, I never thought you'd date a rich girl either. But then again I never thought we'd be friends and here we are." He smiled, "You really like her though?"
"That's fair, I think having a messy relationship or two is just a part of life." Issac said. "Yeah, I never thought I'd be with someone like Skylar." He admitted.

"I'm a chocolate fiend, so I usually add every chocolate option possible." Luke smiled over at Colin, however that smile faded hearing about Elise, "Oh..." He ran his fingers through his hair, "Funny enough Elise is also my ex and friend. But we weren't like seriously dating, no I love you's or anything like that." Luke hadn't heard about Colin from Elise before, "Does that make this weird?" He asked, looking over at him, "I mean, I hope it doesn't. You seem like a really cool guy and I'm already enjoying spending time with you." He kept close to him as they walked. "I also can't answer that one." Luke laughed and his big charming smile coming out, "We can both be mysteriously hot and charming together."
Colin glanced at Luke and smiled as he spoke. Already enjoying the other male's company and the direction of this outing going. "I can't wait, I'm excited to see what combinations of donuts and ice cream I could possibly come up with." He laughed. "Well, work, but my ex and my friend, Elise is here. I wanted to see why she loved this state so much and I gotta say, I'm starting to see why she likes it." Hesmiled at him. "Being hot and charming though? I can't answer that, maybe you can tell me why you're so hot and charming?"

"Harry Styles is a pretty cool dude. I was always more of a Louis Tomlinson lover myself, but I don't blame them." Luke laughed and looked to Ryker. "I know you have to be professional in your job, but were there ever any artists that had you a little star-struck on the job?"
"It's honestly worse when someone like Harry Styles is plaing here because everyone loses their ucking mind over that kid."

"At least now you know where she gets it from." He laughed, "I hope you two manage to get close after all of this. I'm sure the disagreements will still occur but I really hope it helps you two grow."
"We used to have disagreements. Both of us are hard headed women and stubborn. At least I know she comes by it honestly."

Luke smiled and gave a nod of his head for Colin to follow, the place wasn't too far. As they walked he kept close, glancing over at him as they spoke, "It's delicious, I promise. You can pick your own donut and ice cream flavor. It's so cool." Luke beamed, "So, Colin, tell me about yourself. What brought you to New York? And how are you so incredibly hot and charming?"
"A donut ice cream sandwhich?" Colin rasied a brow and smile. "That sounds perfect, actually." He added. "Lead the way."

Luke laughed, "No, I guess not." Hearing her he smiled more, "Shit, if only I was going to Yale we could've been major buddies. I'm going to be a lawyer as well just at NYU School of Law. My dad's been pushing it on me since I was a kid, but I kinda want to do it now."
"Thank you." Briar smiled and took the drink from him and took a sip. "I mean, partying and college fo hand and hand, if you don't party, did you really go to college?" She joked and looked at him. "Well now that my gap year from school is long over, I told my parents I'd go to Yale Law in the fall, follow in their fun footsteps of being a lawyer."

"How's your mom doing now?" Luke asked Elise, taking a sip of his drink, "I'll always come visit. We're friend above all else, El." Luke's eyes widened as she mentioned colin. "Oh, Like.. Bridgerton.. Colin.." He spoke slowly trying to piece it together, "Uhm, I don't really know how to say this but I kinda asked him out on a date and he said yes." Luke confessed then quickly added, "I had no idea you dated him before.." He rubbed the back of his head, "So.. have you guys talked at all? I mean like since he's been back?"
"I knew that when I learned the truth that things are gonna change but it's a bit overwhelming. Mom was arrested today, Luke." Elise told him and pulled away from the hug and wiped her tears. "Thank you for always being here for me. Why don't you come visit? Dad moved in with us but I'm sure it's gonna be fine." She said and smiled. "Yeah, it was so much fun! Oh, it's my ex-boyfriend from LA. His name is Colin, the actor for Colin in Bridgerton. We had closure on my last day there but I still have feelings for him."

"Oh shit, really?" Luke's smile brightened, "I didn't think that'd actually work." He admitted and laughed softly, "Well, Colin, how about we go to Holey Cream? I realize how the name probably sounds but it's just this really good ice cream shop and you can make your own donut ice cream sandwich--It's really good. If you're a sweets guy that is."
A smile came onto Colin's lips when he heard the other male. "I can promise you that he is single and if you'd like to take him out, he'd agree to a date."

Luke nodded, "It's good for her. And I'll always be there for her too if she wants me to be." He assured her, "You two had beef before?" He raised a brow curiously, "Must've been before I moved here."
Evelyn smiled. "I'm glad that she has a good support system." She said. "She's a good person, despite whatever ebefs her and I might have had in the past."

"I'll have to binge it then." Luke smiled over at Colin, "I think his name is Colin Shaw, maybe you know him? If you don't mind setting me up, I'd appreciate it. "
"Dude it goes into season three, you serisouly need to watch it, and yes, it is so good." Colin looked at Luke. "Oh yeah? Then who was it? I can let you know if they're single or not."

"Yeah, she mentioned to me she wasn't staying at the hotel anymore. Said she was moving with her siblings? So that's a good thing I'd say. They all can lean on each other right now."
"I don't know, she has a place of her own so like maybe not?" Evelyn looked at Luke. "I don't know if she wants to give up her new freedom to be honest."

"That one I have not seen yet. It's on my list though, probably tackle that in the next day or two. Is it as good?" Luke asked curiously. When he mentioned it being due to Nicola he let out a light laugh and shook his head, "No, no, I mean, she's great, very beautiful and talented, but she wasn't really the one who caught my attention."
"Wait, I gotta ask, did you add in Queen Charlotte during that watch because that is important to the series too." Colin looked at him and raised an eyebrow and a smile came onto his lips. "It's because of Nicola, right?" He asked, he was partly joking, but still, he wouldn'thave blamed the other male if he had watched it and liked the third season just for Nicola.

"Of course we can be, we're friends above anything. Always have been." Luke hated what her parents put her through, "I'm glad she knows about you now. You both could probably use one another right now. To help heal and all." He smiled as he heard that they'd spoken, "That's really good, do you think she'll take you up on it?"
"Well as long as you two can be civil, then that's what matters." Evelyn said. "I hate that they did that to her, it's beyond fucked up." She took a sip of her drink and looked at Luke. "I have, yeah. I told her that if she wants to get to know each other, we can and I even told her if she wants to move out of her place, she can move in with me."

"Don't judge, but I totally did. Took me three days though. Two would've been much more impressive." He laughed, "Season 3 was by far my favorite. For reasons I probably shouldn't disclose to you right off the bat."
"Yeah? You binged all three season in two days or something?"

"It is off, yeah. That's why we stopped pretending to be together." He nodded in agreement, "I completely agree, it's insane how they tried to force her into marriage and their reasoning behind it is even more fucked." He gave her a soft smile, "Yeah, of course. So uh.. Have you two talked at all yet?"
"Please tell me that stupid ass engagement is off." Evelyn looked at him. "I'm sorry but nobody should be forced to get married to anyone, no matter how old or how young they are." She looked at Luke. "Thank you for being honest and telling me though."

"I'll admit, I was hesitant to watch Bridgerton at first but I was pleasantly surprised at how addicting it was."
"Back from doing more promo for Bridgerton, who missed me and who is enjoying the Polin season?" @ggstarterblog
