when Vienna ran away from her abuse and neglectful dad she was found by some people from the PA

luke was like an older brother to her and gave her one of the first birthday gifts she ever got

she would listen to luke hum the song “you are my sunshine to herself when she couldn’t sleep on the PA

but now

she hums the song to herself when she can’t sleep because luke isn’t there to hum it anymore (bc he’s dead)

i know this DEFINITELY isn't my blog theme but its important

military brats (u aren't brats, my loves dw /p) and kids with really strict parents who do room checks and bathroom checks? here are some tips

for important papers and things that are relatively flat like pads/tampons/smaller things, USE YOUR SHOES OR HIDE THEM BEHIND YOUR DRESSER!! inside lamps also works, and inside water bottles

also for papers, if you have books or text books, those are your best friends

lunch meat is a fucking life saver but never bring it into your room, it smells trust me

sometimes if you're in a rush, you can bundle up clothes under a bag or a heavy item that is one of those items you don't really move around a lot because you don't use it

trash bags and stuff, like small ones or just trash in general? hide it in a bin but make SURE it is a bin that already had stuff in it so you can put that stuff on top, not the safest option but it works in a pinch

windowsill also works absolute wonders if you have curtains that go past it

you don't always have to use soap and cleaner to wipe down counters, sometimes using water, a towel, and then some febreeze afterwards is plenty

keep your bags organized so you know how to hide stuff in said bags

make sure you know the house better than your parents do, especially with your room too (I have two shelves in my closet that have a small gap between them where I can wedge trash bags in a pickle)

need to sneak to the bathroom in the middle of the night, or maybe even the kitchen? Don't EVER use the sleepwalking excuse, its stupid, say you needed to refill a water bottle for school (obviously bring said water bottle with you)

make sure you know which stairs creak and for the love of all non perishable food, do not use the stair railings or use socks and fabric on carpet, skin contact is better it might hurt but anything is better than getting caught

hey so protip if you have abusive parents and need to get around the house as quietly as possible, stay close to furniture and other heavy stuff because the floor is settled there and it’s less likely to creak
