Luke nodded as he walked to where the pet first aid kit was and applied it to the dog’s nose. Minx put her head in his hand as if to thank him. He scratched her head softly, behind the ears. The cat meowed at him and Luke raised his eyebrow. “You behave yourself if you’re gonna be living with me, buddy.” The cat wound it’s long tail around Luke’s ankle. “That’s what I thought.”

Angie didn’t really know what to do. She knew her girls loves the cats but they were just causing to much trouble. Putting her head in her hands she exhaled “babe? Can I talk to you for a minute, please?” She asked as she heard Luke come in. The girls had gone off to school so she would have to talk to them when they came back. @lukehemmings-mm

Luke chuckled and shrugged. “I guess I just want to do what’s best for you and the girls. I can take one cat but not the kittens unfortunately. I’d rather we find loving homes for the babies-so maybe Ash and I can take the other? That way, the babies can be with their mama.

Ooh, cute! I’ll have to make my girlfriend’s little one watch with me-he would probably enjoy it too I feel. I have tried to Google a melody before and it’s not fun.

I actually haven’t seen Encanto but I think I need to-everyone keeps talking about it and I do hear that song like…everywhere. I always do have songs stuck in my head, though. Know what’s even more infuriating? Having a line from a song in your head and having no idea where it’s from. Terrible.

I mean, I have watched it five times which could explain why it is stuck in my head, You need to watch it, it was so good. I don’t know how Disney never seen to miss with their movies. Oh my gosh, yes! I am always so determine to work it out and not google it and the answer comes to me at like 4am, five days later. ( lh //

Luke took a deep breath. “The girls aren’t going to hate you, love. But here-I have an idea. Why don’t I take one? I’ll make sure it’s okay with Ashton and with the landlord,” he said. “I’m sure it’ll be fine. It says on the lease we’re allowed a pet but I’ll check the stipulations on that. And as for the other cat, we’ll have to give them to the shelter. They deserve a loving home but you can’t give them that right now. You have a lot on your plate at the moment. The girls can visit the cat at mine whenever they want.”

I hear you on not wanting to let him go. But think of how much fun he will have and he can draw you pictures to hang up on the fridge! My mum always used to do that for me and I thought I was this amazing artist. Maybe get him into a summer program?

Okay-question. When do kids normally Start school? Like I get 6 years old or whatever. But my little man is gonna be 5 in March and I’m already stressing. I guess this is the not so fun part of being a parent, huh? I suppose it can’t be all snuggled and rainbows all the time. Like I know he’s obviously gonna go later but will he be behind the other kids if he doesn’t go to kindergarten?

Luke sighed as he was trying to drag one of the cats away from Theo who was in his little swing. “Of course,” he said, finally succeeding into getting the animal away from him. He picked up his coffee cup and wandered into the kitchen where Angelina was standing. “What’s up?” He asked, seeing that she looked worried.

Aw man, bro-I really do feel your pain. I don’t have my own but I think kindergarten is optional? I can hear you on not wanting to let him go, though. Can he do like half days maybe just to get him started? I still can’t get over how much he is your twin, though. You guys seem really close.

Sometimes, I am not sure how I am able to adult in real life. I was in a meeting today. A really cool one about some upcoming projects I am going to work on but in my head in a loop was We Don’t Talk About Bruno from Encanto. What is in that song to make it so damn catchy? I need answers, please and thank you. Please tell me I am not the only one who can’t get through the day without some form of sound bite in their head, or am I just going insane? @mountmeadow​

I can’t wait till he starts talking but I would love for him to stay tiny too. If he could stop growing at like, five, that would be amazing. Also, I think we need to get the kids a babysitter and go out for a date night soon. I feel like we’re a bit overdue on that.

As epic as that would have been, I’m glad that I reached out before all that! It must be amazing to be home after all the craziness that’s going on. Okay! I’ll probably just stop by on my own. Does this weekend work? Ugh that sounds so cute. In my head I can’t wait till Theo does that but at the same time I want him to be tiny forever.

I was pretty sure you’d vanished so that’s a relief. I was about to send out a search party and everything. I’m home now so come over whenever you want, man! I don’t think Louise will be doing too much either. Little girl is only 11 months old so she’s only crawling and babbling right now. Mostly wants to just be with me or Emma so she’s probably not going to enjoy other babies being around.

“Are you sure, babe?” Luke wanted to know as he ran his fingerse through his slightly-wet-from-swimming curls. “I don’t want you to make this decision on just what I want, but I think that we can talk about that later,” he hummed softly as he took her hand and he laced their fingers together. “You wanna go swimming?” he suggested with a soft smile as the sun shone down on the both of them. He leaned back as she kissed him softly. Getting away to a warm destination had definitely been the right thing to do.

Of course! I would have to talk to Theo’s mom but I’m sure that a little party wouldn’t hurt him. Aw! When is she going to be two?

I hate to ask but thanks to breaking my wrist I have to do things one handed. Have to go shopping, which includes lifting heavy stuff, and have to take little one with me. Don’t suppose someone can come and give me a...well hand could they? I’ll buy you lunch afterwards. Thanks in advance.

They’d been here a couple of days now and Angie was absolutely loving it. The island they were on was beautiful and just to be able to relax was wonderful. Coming out of the bungalow and onto the beach she handed Luke a mock tail then kissed him “baby…can we go swimming later please?” She asked. The thought of going In the water terrified her but she knew with Luke there she’d be safe. They had be sent pics of the girls at the valentines ball and they both looked amazing “are you still worried about the church?” She asked setting her drink down and sitting next to him. “You won’t burst into flames my love, but it’s ok to be unsure of how you feels” Kissing him again she smiled and ran a thumb over his cheek “I love you” she told him.

He liked that they essentially had a private island and it was quiet-he truly needed that. He smiled as he pulled his sunglasses up to the top of his head and looked over at his girlfriend. He smiled at her. “I’m not scared of the church, per say,” he said, trying to explain what he felt. “But ever since I’ve like tried to go for an event or anything, I just always felt judged. Like, one time I went to my friend’s daughter’s communion and the receptionist was all ‘the AA meeting is downstairs’. After that, I never went back to a church and it’ll be my first time in a few years,” he said. It seemed silly. “I believe in God, of course. But I don’t feel like you have to go to church to be a good person.”
