2 + 2 Makes Four || Zac + Lucy
Zac: rubbed her cheek slowly with his thumb, he knew they both had the same fears. That they wouldn't be good parents. But he did know that deep down, they'd be fine. That they wouldn't disappoint their children. He smiled at the chuckle, leaning even closer when she pulled him. "And you're going to be a hot mommy. And you're already hot, but you're going to make being a mom look amazing." He muttered, smiling wide. "I love you too." He said, his eyes on hers. He watched her and nodded his head slightly. He chewed on his lower lip, pulling a chair over to side of the bed, sitting down. "I'm not a fan of them either. But I mean, they did save you, so I have to appreciate them." He said softly, leaning his arms on the bed, his head near her at all times. He wanted this to be as quick and painless for his wife, though he didn't want anything to go wrong by it somehow being rushed.
Lucy: closed her eyes as Zac comforted her, and focused on her breathing. "Only because I have you by my side, with you there, I can make anything great" She grinned at him. Watching her husband for a moment, Lucy pushed her brows together as he talked about one saving her. She hated that moment more than anything, she hated knowing that she had put Zac through something like that, even if she was okay, now. "I guess so" She whispered, closing the gap between their faces and pressing a soft kiss to his lips. Pulling back as another contraction went through er body, she let out a soft cry, wishing she had paid attention to when the last one was, so she had some indication of what was really happening. Sucking in a breath, she looked up at the ceiling. She didn't want to say much, now since the nerves were getting to her, and she felt like if she talked, it'd just make it worse. As a few hours went by, Lucy was glad Zac was there getting what she needed. "Fuck!" She cried out as a strong contraction went through her. "I want the epidural... please." Lucy said, looking at Zac. "They're getting too much."

Zac: returned the squeeze of his hand, gently squeezing Lucy's. He rubbed her hand with his thumb, not being more than a few inches away from her. He was glad he hadn't been at work. Though, with the due date, he'd been spending more time at home on different days. Any day free, he was home. But he'd take time off, letting them know he wasn't risking missing this. "Good." He said with a smile, his eyes meeting hers. He stood off to the side as the nurses helped her into bed and set up the machines they were going to need. He didn't want to be in their way. Once they were done he moved back over, his hand instantly taking his wife's. He looked at her, his free hand moving to her cheek before he leaned down, pressing his forehead to hers. "Hey, stop that." He rubbed his nose against hers. "You're going to be an amazing mom. The best mom there is. Because you love with everything in you. And I've seen you with kids, you're amazing with them. And these are our kids, so that only makes it even better. You'll love them even more." He paused, "We are going to be the best." he paused and grinned, "And hottest parents." He said with a smile, pressing a kiss to his wife's lips.
Lucy: listening to Zac, Lucy let out a small sigh. She knew that she was being silly, but those fears couldn't help but surface. Looking into his eyes, she let out a small giggle, one of her arms moving to wrap around his neck, to pull him closer "You're going to be one hot daddy, although you're already hot" She mumbled, before kissing him back with a wide grin. "I love you" She said, letting out a small sigh. Breaking away from him, she looked up, her hands rested on her stomach. "I hope we don't have to wait long, I don't like hospitals" The brunette said, crinkling her nose a little. She also wanted the pain to go quickly - and to meet their little ones. After nine months of carrying them, there was a lot of reasons to make it go quickly.

Zac: knew that this is when things would flip. He would be the calm one and Lucy would more than likely have some panicking. He knew that they worked like that. They were what the other needed, it was something he loved about them. Zac heard her and frowned, hating that she was in pain, though, he knew it was for a good thing, no matter how much he hated it. He watched and moved to the side of her wheelchair, his hand finding hers before his fingers laced through hers. "I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere." He said, leaning down to press a kiss to her temple. "I'm by your side." he whispered.
Lucy: squeezing Zacs hand, a small comforting feeling came to Lucy. She liked that he was right there with her, it would have been worse if he was away at work. "I know, I know" She mumbled, looking up at him with a small smile. Using the nurses help, the actress moved to the bed, trying to get as comfortable as she could. Struggling to take her pants off, she pushed them aside, knowing that people were going to see a lot more than just her underwear, and it felt good to get the wet pants off. Refusing to have pain relief, at least, for now, she turned to look at her husband. "I'm not ready for this." The brunette spoke, no long keeping her emotions at bay. "What if I'm a terrible mom?"

Zac: smiled and nodded his head. "I will make sure I don't mess up then. I don't want to go dying anytime soon." He said with a chuckle, glad they could still joke even in moments like this. Zac shook his head, "Always so stubborn." he said, looking around. "They should have valet or something here. For these moments. It's only when there is construction." He muttered, driving off and parking anywhere close that was handicap only. He quickly ran back into the hospital, catching to Lucy quickly. "Hey, where you going? Shouldn't we go to the front desk?" He said, taking her hand in his, before leading her to the front desk. "My wife, she's in labor." he said quickly, his voice steady and calm.
Lucy: could hear the nurse at the front trying to talk to her, but she couldn't make her mind work. Now that she was in the hospital, the panic was really setting into her. Feeling Zacs hand in hers, she nodded slightly and walked with him, taking a deep breath. Just as he talked, she felt another contraction go through her. "Oh God" She cried out, feeling more pain. At that, she saw a nurse come with a wheelchair, and she guessed she was going to have to get into it. Sitting down, she allowed them to wheel her to a delivery room. Looking at Zac calmed her down a little. "Zac..." She trailed off, reaching out for him, not really wanting anyone else to touch her right now.

Zac: smiled and looked at her, "Mostly." He said with a smile still on his lips. "I'm afraid I'll mess up." He said but shrugged it off, "But I know with you by my side, I'll be fine. So by mostly I mean like, 99% ready." He said with a smile, looking over her then forward. "I know we'll do this great. I've seen you with kids, you're going to be the perfect mom." He said, knowing they'd do fine, that together, they'd do the perfect job. "To the?" He paused, looking over at her, his eyebrows pulling together. "Oh." He muttered, her cut off words and actions giving away what was going on. "I'm going, we're almost there babe." He said, looking at her then forward. He didn't care if a cop tried to pull them over at this point, he was going to drive anyways and explain later. Moments later though, he pulled up to the curb and got out, moving to the passenger side and opening the door. "Do I need to get a wheelchair, babe?"
Lucy: "You're going to be great, and aren't going to mess up. Because if you do, I might have to kill you" Even in moments like this, Lucy knew that it was good to joke around. "Drive faster" She said, still trying to keep the panic out of her voice, which was mostly working. As they got to the hospital, Lucy let out a small breath. Looking over at her husband, she shook her head "No, it's fine. I can walk" Opening the door, Lucy got out, no longer caring what she looked like. She was stubborn, and although it would have been a good idea to get a wheelchair, she wanted to do this on her own. Starting walking to the entrance, Lucy figured Zac would catch up to her. As she entered the hospital, the actress looked around and bit her lower lip, no longer sure what to do.

Zac: smiled when Lucy did, it was something he wouldn't get tired of seeing, ever. He chuckled softly hearing the struggle between Lucy and the dogs, they never made anything easy. But they were their kids just as much as their actual babies were going to be. He chuckled softly and looked at her, "hey, that's not going to last forever though. It'll be done in a few hours." He said with a smile, looking at her. "Good, because I trust you just as much." He said with a smile, closing his eyes for a moment. He walked over to the drivers side and got in, buckling his seatbelt before he started the car. "I am. Mostly." he said with a chuckle, looking over at her. "Are you ready to be a mommy?"
Lucy: "Mostly?" She asked with a raised brow, trying to keep the concern out of her voice. She wanted Zac to be the calm one for them both, but it was clear that it wasn't going to happen. Nodding at his question, she let out a small giggle "Of course I am, couldn't be more ready" Lucy tried to sound confident, but she was scared. Feeling pressure in her lower stomach, the actress let out a small sigh "I need to go the - " She stopped talking, and felt her cheeks heat up slightly. "I um... the.... shit" She breathed out, moving uncomfortably on her seat. "Zac... we really need to get to the hospital, please" The brunette spoke through gritted teeth. She didn't want to have one, or both of her babies on a freeway.

Zac: kept his eyes on his wife, watching as she sat up. He knew this day was coming soon, she was due and he knew babies didn't care what a due date was, they'd come whenever they wanted and their babies decided now was the time. He narrowed his eyes at the amused look on her face, knowing what it was for. "I figured that much." He said with a smile. He started to go towards her to help her up, though, he knew she wouldn't let him unless she really couldn't get up. He smiled as he watched her, her whispering to their babies somehow calmed him down. "That would be a lot of cleaning needed." He said with a smile, "I'll meet you in the car? I have to grab the hospital bag." He said, pressing a quick kiss to her lips before he made his way to their room, grabbing the bag. He looked around, they had packed ahead, but what if they forgot something. He ran back to her, meeting her just outside of the front door. "I promise to get us there quickly and safely." He said, walking to the passenger door, opening it for his wife.
Lucy: kissed her husband back easily, a small smile forming on her lips. She loved the care that he showed for her, and hoped that would never stop. Walking out towards the car, she struggled to stop the dogs running out. As she got there, the actress was surprised that Zac came up behind her. "Damn, I hate that I'm so slow" She whined slightly, tilting her head to look back at him. "I know that you will, babe. I trust you" She said, tip-toeing to kiss his cheek. Getting into the car, she buckled up, resting her hands on her stomach. Closing her eyes, she waited to Zac to get into the car and looked over at him. "Are you ready to be a daddy?" She asked him, biting down on her lower lip.

Zac: knew that any day he and Lucy would be parents, to twins. It was still something that he couldn't wait for and it terrified him. He feared he'd be a bad father. Though, with Lucy by his side he knew they could get through it. He was happy to be cooking for them, getting to spoil Lucy int his was was something he loved. He knew they didn't have a name for their son but he knew it would come to them easily. Just as their daughters had. Krystal seemed perfect, something about it just made sense and he smiled thinking about it. Zac's eyebrows raised when he heard his name, his hand dropping the fork that was in it. "What?" he said, more to himself than anything else. He turned the stove off and made his way quickly into the living room. "Well, we should go then, right?" He said, his eyes on his wife, slightly wider than normal.
Lucy: sitting up slowly, Lucy put Jack on the sofa and continued to look at her husband, an amused look on her face. She loved how scared he looked, and it made her feel a little more calm. "We probably should" The actress said in a sing song voice, trying to get herself up off the couch, not wanting Zacs help. After a few moments of struggle, Lucy got up, and rested one hand on her stomach. "Okay, little ones. You're going to have to wait until we get to hospital, can you do that for me?" She whispered, walking over to Zac. "Lets get going.... I don't want the waters to break in the car" Lucy crinkled her nose slightly, a small shudder moving along her back. She still hated going in cars, but was getting better at doing that. Making her way slowly to the car, she let out a small groan of pain as another contraction went through her.

2 + 2 Makes Four || Zac + Lucy
Lucy: was sitting in the living room with Jack, she hated that she had to rest more, but also didn't want to risk anything happening to Krystal and their unnamed son. The brunette felt slightly bad for not naming him yet, but she figured it would come to them, especially with her being due any day, now. Feeling slight pressure in her abdomen area, the actress winced slightly - it didn't hurt too much, but it was a surprise. Thinking nothing of it, Lucy continued to pat Jack for a while before feeling another. "Zac!" She called out, not liking that she had to call him away from making them food, since she was so hungry "Not to worry you.... but I think that I might go into labor, soon" She said, resting one hand on her stomach. Looking at him with a slightly concerned and worried look, Lucy bit down on her lower lip, wondering when her water was going to break, if she was in fact going to have their kids.

I'm pretty sure that no coffee is allowed, at all. It's bad for the babies kindeys and liver, or something like that. I can't help that I'm addicted to coffee -- it just tastes so good and I want more of it. Krystal Efron... it sounds nice. Did you want her to have a middle name? Yeah, we'll keep thinking about the boy one. I just have a strong feeling about Krystal being a good name for our little girl. I really hope they will.
I hope they will too. That would be nice for us. Oh yeah, we will take turns if they don’t sleep the same schedule. Does it really? Well, can’t you drink a little caffeine at a certain point in pregnancy or is that just rumors? Because I’ve heard of it. Well, we don’t have to worry about alcohol, so we don’t have a lot to worry about. You and your coffee. I like Krystal. It’s not overly common. Christian could be good. Though, it will be hard to know if it’s right. Maybe it’ll come to us randomly though? I’m sure they’ll like their names.

It is really good, babe. I'm hoping they'll sleep at the same time, otherwise whoever gets up for the first one doesn't get up for the second one. Ugh, I don't think so. Whatever you drink goes through to your baby -- which is why you're not meant to drink when breast feeding. Lucky we don't have that problem anymore. I could always try decaf, might not be the same but it could be alright. I kind of like the name for Krystal, for a girl but for a boy -- I actually have no idea. Christian sounds nice but... I don't know if that fits. I wish we would know their personality before naming them. This is the name that they're going to have for the rest of their lives. I actually want them to like it. This is amazingly hard.
Well, I mean, I figured it was a possibility. But I didn’t think it would happen to us. But it’s really good that we’re having twins, I think. We will be, I mean, there is two of us. You know that’s true, if their sleep schedules match up though. Oh, soon babe. Soon you can have coffee again. And anything else, really. I don’t know yet, I haven’t put a lot to mind yet. I was just anxious about finding out what we were having.

I didn't think it was possible either but yet -- we're getting two. I'm nervous but I think we'll be okay. We have to be. At least we only have to go through one lot of sleepless night for two babies, right? Me either, I want to be able to drink coffee again. Yes -- what kind of names do you like?
Oh, I know we will. You and I, we’re a great team and I know we can do this. It’s just, wow, I wasn’t even considering the chance of twins. You were right. And I can’t wait for them to be here, already. Names, that’s the first step, right?

It is but we're goin to be able to do it -- it's just one more than we were expecting -- and I thought I was just getting really fat. At least I was right about us having a boy. He's just getting a sister, too.
I hope they are right. I am. It’s a bit..intimidating but with you, I’m ready.

Damn it, I wanted to blame you. Screw you science. It's not adorable, it''s annoying and sad. But I admit you lifting me so that we can kiss, is quite fun... won't be able to do that for much longer. You like my eyes? Mhm, lucky I can't replace them. No, no -- if they take after you then they're going to be the perfect kid, you're going to be the best daddy ever. Of course I want to find out, babe. But I know that we're having a boy. I just have this feeling. So, if I'm wrong... well, I dunno.
No no, it’s going to be half and half. That’s how it works babe. I like that you’re short. It’s so damn adorable. I like your eyes. They show what you’re feeling so well, it’s one of my favorite things, to be honest. You’re just wow, all of you. So if they take after you, we’ll have a perfect kid. I think it would be rude of me to stop you, don’t you? I don’t mind that one bit. You won’t get a complaint from me. Wednesday it is. Let’s find out? Unless you want it to be a surprise.
