Oh yeah, I’m a regular Sherlock. I think I’d be happy with anything, you know I love animals. I wouldn’t mind a snake for myself truthfully, if you’d be okay with that. But my gut tells me you’re also looking for something fluffy and cuddly. We could look at dogs if you wanted. And, if you’re free while I’m thinking on it, I found a couple of houses I think would be nice to look at. When you’re up for it.

You want to look at houses, like something for us. A house that’s bigger than my bachelor loft above my shop, a house to really organize our married life. I think we should look together. I can use this place up here as storage, and expand the sewing space up here. I know this place was already set up for me when you got here, it’s more mine and not ours. Though you know I’d argue and say it is, I do get it. I don’t know how I got so lucky either, honestly. There aren’t many people our age that have found their soulmate in Snowbury.

You’re right, I want to look for something for us. I don’t want you to feel bad, or like I don’t want to live here with you anymore. Because the truth is, Dyl, I’d live here with you forever, just like this. But, we both have wants. Like a family. We don’t have the space for so much as a pet here, even less for kids. And, like you said, it would be nice to be able to expand to up here. It’ll open doors for your shop. If you don’t think the time is right, I’ll follow your lead. I just wanted to suggest it. You’re right again, there are very few like us this season. I couldn’t be happier Dylan. I feel like my life has just been on pause, and I’m just now hitting play again. Here, with you.

That does sound like an amazing time. I want to go on those with you too, my husband. I want to do a lot of things with you. You’re so sweet. How do you mean?  I wish I had that kind of outlook, but that’s not me at all; not when it comes to soulmates. But that’s just me. I saw something I think about Josie is hosting yes?  So tell me when and where and I’ll try to be there.  

Oh, I just mean we didn’t plan extensively or anything. I mean yeah, I’ve wanted to marry him for so many years but, we didn’t take months and months. It was a bit more of a spur-the-moment type deal. We’ve waited over a decade, we weren’t going to wait any more. Oh? Can I ask what your outlook is then? Just out of curiosity. Yes, that’s right. It’ll be over at Tate Manor, starting at about 4. We hope to see you there, Cade! But, don’t worry if you aren’t able to make it, we do understand.

Yes, of course! At the end of the day, to some people a wedding is, like, the most intimate thing you can have. Full Kim and Kanye Italian wedding style, you know? As for me, I think I’m more of a Harry and Meghan type of wedding, you know? Yes, I love a good wedding reception. Get the champagne flowing. 

Excellent, we’ll both be excited to see you. Yeah, I do know what you mean actually. I think that’s really what we were going for. Everything around here is so public, we wanted something just for us. Harry and Meghan’s wedding was gorgeous no doubt, just not for us in this moment. I know you’ll get your royal wedding though, Sabrina. You only deserve the best. Well, it’s actually going to be a dry reception. So, more like ‘get the sparkling cider flowing’.

“Maybe a little.” Lucas smiled coolly as Sabrina talked. “Like you said, there’s definitely still time for some bigger mentions, if you’re looking to rock the boat a little more. I was expecting to be put in, after some of the things I’ve been involved in around here. I try not to pay too much attention, though. And, I guess he didn’t really out us. So, that’s cool. But some of the stuff in there...” Lucas shook his head, rolling his eyes. “Makes me feel a little more sane than I did. All that stuff going down at the carnival? Jeeze.”

I’m so looking forward to a party, and you better make some sort of newly-wed gift wish-list because you will be receiving the best presents ever, believe me. I’m just slightly annoyed that I couldn’t dress up for the wedding, but I’ll get over it. Congratulations!

Thanks for that Sabrina. It wasn’t something we’d planned for weeks or even months in advance, so there wasn’t a whole lot of time to invite everyone. Plus, I think after everything...Having something just for us was pretty nice. But, I’m glad we’ll get the chance to see you and celebrate at the reception.

Hey thanks, Cade. The congrats are appreciated all around. It was a surprise, even to us if I’m being honest. It happened faster than I think anyone expected, us included. But, when you know you know. Can we look forward to seeing you at the reception tomorrow?

“Yeah, the reception we’ve gotten is amazing. but i guess in a small town, when something new rolls in, it can be pretty overwhelming. i was in a town about this small when i was a kid. so i remember how much we loved stuff like this. probably why i chose to be an acrobat and gymnastics over other sports.” karl nodded his head. “Yeah, much longer than we usually stay, but it’s harder to set up through snow. so we usually stay in places longer during these months. and why we change the show up so often. so it never gets dull. though usually at the end. people are usually coming for the food.” 

Lucas nodded, taking in what was being said. “Yeah, people around here tend to flock to this stuff. At least, they did last I was here. I’ve been gone for a while, but came back recently. Looks like my timing was pretty impeccable, if you ask me. Where did you grow up, if you don’t mind me asking?” Lucas asked curiously. “Makes sense, yeah. Kind of almost like an escape, in a way. That used to be what I wanted. To get out of here, make a name for myself. I did that, in a way. But, I came back. Yeah, I guess that would make sense. No sense in trying to tear all this down all the time with inches to feet of snow around you. Personally I’m glad you’ll be here for a while. It gives everyone something to do, that’s for sure.”

Look at you, Captain Smug. I love that smile, one of these days I’m going to have to find a way to hit you with a surprise as big as this one. I knew you were up to something, I told you. PM: I should change my URL. Thinking on it, I might have to contact a few people involved in the desk work at Nouveaux Rouge, too. To make sure my customers get the update, so they can find me again for their next purchase. How crazy is that? Just Friday we were scavenger hunting all the half empty bottles in my loft and now I’m putting name change information into my business. You’re not mad about the gossip though, are you? About the uh… late night deliveries. You already knew about that. 

I’m glad you love this smile, because you’re stuck with it for quite some time handsome. You know you don’t have to do that, waking up next to you with those rings on your finger is more than enough for me. You did tell me, you. 

PM: If you want to change those things you can. I’d love to see it, but I won’t pressure you. I understand you have a business to run, one that is established under a certain name.
