tips for what to do after a really long cry because you’re probably feeling all kinds of exhausted and drained and i don’t want that for you in the slightest:
take a shower and change all of your clothes even your socks and underwear. this is the first step to everything.
pour yourself a big, cold glass of water and drink it. all of it. once you’re done, get yourself a refill. this will boost u physically and emotionally instantly please trust me.
grab a snack, something light that you don’t have to wait to prepare. i recommend a pudding cup, a piece of fruit, yogurt, a popsicle, or some crackers.
get under the covers. turn on something - tv, a movie, music, anything distracting. or consider calling a friend or talking to anyone nearby, even your sibling the next room over!!
know that you are loved. you are important. you mean more than you know right now, more than you will maybe ever know. you are worth all the stars in the sky. you deserve to feel good.

If you’re not prepared for your child to think differently from you, don’t have children. If you’re not prepared for your child to be disabled or chronically ill, don’t have children. If you’re not prepared for a child with autism or mental illness, don’t have children. If you’re not prepared for your child to be transgender, gay, bisexual, pansexual, lesbian, or asexual and/or you can’t accept that, don’t have children. This is not up for debate.

Hey guys, so I’ve seen some posts around about daily routines so I thought I’d share my own. I consider myself to be great at being productive even early in the morning, and here’s how I achieve that. Hope this is helpful, and feel free to ask me questions if you have any!

Gas It Up
Don’t wait around for someone to gas you up and make you feel good. Gas yourself up. Even if it’s something small like drawing a straight line without a ruler, gas yourself up. Your highest praise should come from you, never forget that.

The new year is starting soon and I wanted to become more organized in my studies. I think to have a studyblr for a long time but I was affraid to speak in english which is not my first language. I think it will help me to improve myself with school and english as well.
🐢 About me:
• My real name’s Louise. • I’m from France so my native language is french. • I’m 16 years old and I’m going in “terminale” which in english system corresponds to … • I’m into ecology so don’t be messed up if you see post related to this topic. • My sun sign is libra ♎.
🐢 Classes that i’m taking:
•French litterature • English + english litterature • German • Maths • Latin • Art • History + geography
🐢 My goal :
• Stay more focus on my study • Having my final exam in june with the mention “good” • Become more organized like not starting an essai at midnight for tommorow (lol) • Improve my language’s skill • Try to be accepted in all the universiy I want
💜 Studyblrs that inspire me a lot :

Back to School tips/ideas
I am no way qualified to give anyone tips but seeing as I have made mistakes in the past I feel like others can learn from this. I know that this is for back to school but I also feel like it is important to share some other ideas for the school year. As September gets closer and closer (or August depending on where you live) nerves start to ramp up and the first day of school approaches. Here are ten tips to help you get back into the grind.
1. Start Waking up early a week before school starts
What I find in the summer is that wake up real late. Like 12:00. So to handle getting up 6 hours earlier I start waking up at that time before school starts. This helps me get into the mindset of getting back to school and getting into the habit that I need to wake up early. Other things that help is to make your bed when you wake up because that helps set you up for success. Also, drink a glass of water after you wake up because you lose a lot of water when you sleep and you will feel even more tired because you’re dehydrated.
2. Make a study space or study nook free of distraction
YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH THIS HELPED ME!!! I have always not been a huge studier and I never knew why. I didn’t get horrible grades but I could always do better. Once I had my own space I started focusing better and surprisingly, my grades got better. You can decorate this however you want. Make it AESTHETIC GOALS or just find a desk in your house. This is important though because we live in an age of constant distraction that you turn off all your notifications. I have mentioned an app before called freedom before but I found a new one called space which is much better. Also, make sure this space makes you comfortable because if not this could hurt you rather than help you.
3. Familiarize yourself with your teachers and professors
This was helpful for me last year. I did have another post where I talked about the importance of asking for help. Even if you don’t even like your teachers it is important to make contact with them and not to ice them out. I was fortunate enough to have teachers that I liked and that were easy to talk to. If your teachers are hard to talk to in person send them an email and they will probably email you back. This will also help you later in the year if you need any letters of recommendation or signatures from your teachers.
4. Find a way to study that helps you (not others).
If you look around the studyblr community you will notice handwriting porn basically. Don’t be intimidated by this. I made a post on the importance of finding studying tips so I will keep this short. Make sure that you are not bullied into doing something you don’t want. Find what is right for you
5. If you like music, make a playlist
This is probably one of the most fun things on the list. When I study I feel 100% better when I listen to music. Whether you like chill pop or some hardcore rap then you do you boo boo. Some people also like to listen to music in different languages when they study their world language. I think that @studypuppers made a post about world language playlists. really just have fun with this. I am really digging Kesha’s new song praying it gives me chills when I listen to that.
6. Take breaks and find ways to relieve stress
Make sure that it isn’t 24/7 365 studying even though we have all been there at one point or another. It is important to rest after studying and in between study sessions, I like to watch Netflix, read a book, or just listen to music. It is up to you but It is important for well-being to take breaks.
7. Do everything as it comes
I have succumbed to the procrastination gods and have put off work which leaves you with a black cloud. Do your assignments as they come. For example, if I was given an essay on Monday that isn’t due for 2 weeks get it done right away so you aren’t pulling an all nighter 2 weeks from now. It will really help and as much as you won’t want to do it it will help you 100%
8. Drink plenty of water and breathe
It is helpful to stay hydrated when you study because your brain won’t function as well if you are dehydrated. Also, meditation or yoga can help clear your mind as well.
I hope these tips help you guys out. I track #bohostudying ask box is always open
