You’re engaged?! Where to start now? Wedding Planning Tips to help you survive. Congratulations!

He finally did it! Years of pestering, smart remarks from family and friends and countless hints. Hallelujah!! OK but now down to the fun stuff. WEDDING PLANNING!!

Most of my gorgeous bridal clients are newbies to the wedding game and it can be so overwhelming to have so many things to think of and to do leading up. If you have already started wedding planning, you will know what I’m talking about. If you haven't started, DO NOT STRESS. This is meant to be an exciting time in your life and therefore I hope this blog can give you some confidence when you dive into the wedding planning game.

Over my time of doing many, many bridal parties, having my own wedding and being a part of several weddings, I sometimes see the same things happening to these poor brides.

Unfortunately, I have witnessed waaaay too many brides saying on their big day “I wished I had done things differently” or “I’m so relieved today is finally here so I never have to do this again”. This upsets me, as I believe your wedding day should be one of the best days you will ever experience. 

Weddings are so unique and there is certainly no right or wrong way to do things. It’s YOUR day (and your husband-to-be, but mainly yours, lets face it).

As a makeup artist, I am in no way or form an expert in the whole scheme of a wedding. These are simply tips I have learnt through my clients or my own personal experiences. My aim is to have a happy bride sitting in my chair on their big day because she found wedding planning to ACTUALLY be fun.

So grab that glass of champers, sit back and take it all in.
