✨ Five Tips To Help You “Fully” Regress! ✨
I get messages and asks all the time about “how to fully regress/how to fully go under with regression”! I thought I’d just make a post about it, because I do have several tips!!
Note: This is geared mostly for littles without CGs, since they usually have a harder time, but if you have a CG, just do these things together!
1. Set aside time for it!
Set aside like three hours where you know you’ll be uninterrupted. Tell your family your busy/pick a day you know the house will be empty. Turn your phone on do not disturb. Like, make yourself TIME.
2. Set everything up before hand!
Do you plan on having a snack? Get it ready. Are you going to take a bath? Get all your bubbles and toys ready! Gonna color and watch cartoons? Set up your laptop and get your crayons out! Do all of this before you’re regressed!!! That way, when you start to “go under” you don’t have to pull yourself up into big space to set things up! Make a checklist if you need to! Put stickers on it! Have fun :)
3. Smell is powerful!
Take a bath! Use baby lotion and baby powder! Honestly, for me, the deepest I go into little space is at bedtime after taking a bath, slathering myself with lotion, laying in bed with an ooooold Disney movie playing, with my binkie in and my stuffie cuddled close; everything is so safe and warm, and all I can smell or feel is baby stuff. Seriously, invest in scents that remind you of your childhood! Scent is one of the most powerful memory recallers! And baby lotion is cheap and not TOO notifiable. 
4. Sounds! 
Disney music, Animal Crossing/Stardew Valley sounds, lullabies, just whatever relaxes you and makes you feel safe and happy. The key to going super under with little space is complete immersion. If you flood your brain with nice, lovely baby things, there’s no room for annoying big thoughts to sneak in! Also, honestly, if you’re having a lot of trouble regressing, try age regression/little space ASMR. It helps; I promise.
5. SAFETY. COMFORT. SECURITY.
The reason your probably having trouble regressing is anxiety. Whether it’s the anxiety of “getting caught” or shame/embarrassment for regressing, it’s going to keep you from getting into the little headspace. You have to get to a place where you can let go of that. If you’re stressed about work or school, do what you can to fix it, and then let it go. To regress, you have to let go of shame and guilt and worry and all those heavy things that weigh down your grown up mind. I know, I know, it’s easier said than done. But once you can do it, age regression is a magical, healing, rejuvenating, amazing therapy that you can do for yourself whenever you need or want to! Your regression is pure. It is valid. It is okay.
