lottie braden

—  jessica clements, 23, she/her  | that’s charlotte anne braden. she’s lived in this small town for, like, all their life. it seems like she’s a teacher, and if i remember correctly, she’s an aquarius. seeing her around always makes me think of rolled up blue jeans, cluttered bookshelves, and homemade iced tea. 

so like you can see from the app, lottie is a teacher and not without reason! she loves working with children and has been babysitting and     tutoring all through high school.

one of lottie’s favourite things is doodling. she keeps a bullet journal and all the pages are decorated by some doodle or another. if you’re talking on the phone with her you can be sure that she’s sketching away on some piece of paper.

while lottie was born and raised in carina, she went to marshall university to study teaching and lived there for the most part up until this year. she had a job in a bigger elementary school there, but switched to her old school as soon as they were hiring.

lottie loves her family a lot and not without reason. her parents welcomed her back into their home upon her moving back and it has been great living with them. they are both really open-minded people and lottie enjoys talking to them.

while she loves that she’s back with her family, lottie misses her friends in huntington a lot and often visits them when she has time. that’s one of the reasons she hasn’t really settled in carina again. it’s weird running into her friends from school who she’s lost contact with.

the weirdest thing for lottie to come back to in carina was her ex-boyfriend being married though. she had been in a relationship with him all through high school, but they broke up shortly after they each started university, even though lottie felt like they were both still in love with eachother. somehow she didn’t have the power to fight for her relationship then and she deeply regrets it now.

personality-wise, i’d say that lottie is a really loving, happy person for the most. she doesn’t like showing insecurity a lot and she has a bit of a habit of getting into awkward situations. her professional life is mostly good, but she knows that she has a bit of a problem with being social and meeting new people. lottie’s also really sarcastic, but in a matter that not everyone always gets her.

nico colace

— alberto rosende, 25, he/him | that’s nicolas juan colace. he’s lived in this small town for all their life. it seems that he’s a podcast and radio host, and if i remember correctly, nico’s a scorpio. seeing him around always makes me think of bbq grilled cheeseburgers, bomber jackets in every color of the rainbow and staying up late editing.

nico got into radio talk shows and podcasts sometime around his freshman year of highschool. he got really hooked on the format and started doing a monthly podcast with one of his friends where they talked about tv and movies and all that and slowly but surely got themselves a bit of a following from people around town that were mostly their age. 

for nico it was clear that he’d talk about some popculture stuff bc he’s really into marvel movies and star wars and tv shows. so it was easy for him to talk about these things, just bc he likes them. 

nico’s parents weren’t together when he was born and so it always was staying with his mom for one week and then with his dad for the next. he honestly liked both equally, but he enjoyed spending time with maria when she was born and therefore always missed her at his mom’s.

he went to upenn and studied communication and psychology there, working internships at different radio stations all through college. he was lucky that his grandparents had set money aside for his education, so he didn’t have to work much on the sides other than a weekend job at a comic book store that he really enjoyed. 

after graduating he got himself a late night slot on carina’s alternative music station, but he’s planning to soon switch to an earlier time. 

he recently relaunched his podcast with a friend, where they still discuss popular culture and also dive into psychology a bit. 

nico’s been in a relationship with his boyfriend since before college and they’re at the point where some of his friends joke that they’ve been together for about seventeen years or such.

he’s a fun guy who has a bit of a boyish charm to him and he enjoys modest things like spending time with his loved ones and having bbqs and drinking beer with his friends while playing dungeons and dragons.

his relationship with his family is a bit weird bc he isn’t too good with dealing with his mom’s everchanging boyfriends and his dad finally getting married to the mother of maria soon. but the one person of his family he’s always been close too is certainly maria, who he’d do everything for.
