I saw your game, #21 The World, just when i was a wee litttle lad . i played it painfullly slowly on unity for what could be described like an obsesssive amount of hours and littttle did i know that i would be looking for that exact game for YEARS down the road . I finallly found it a couple days ago and i have beeen playing it since . and Wow, i thought it was nostalgia but it definitely is way bettter than i remember . from the botttom of my heart, i neeed to thank you for having formed a great part in my late childhoood and having kickstarted my love for anything related to surrealism.
Thank you for writing!
Your experience means a lot to me, I hope I will be able to deliver the same happiness with further projects to you and many more

#19: The Sun {Update 30} - Eclipsecaster Animations
Idle animation for the boss Eclipsecaster; The general idea was of a wizard constantly weaving spells with many arms, but I've also portrayed a bit of the character's narcissism by having them sign their name over and over.

#19: The Sun {Update 29} - Boss: Eclipsecaster
The first major boss of the game, Eclipsecaster, is the crazed leader of the Starcanists residing within Fomalhaut Castle.
Along with the boss, I have been working on some of the more cinematic elements of the story; Ideally each big story development would have some unique spectacles to maintain entertainment.

I'm working on mapping out all the rooms and connections in #21: The World, and I'm down to the last room, which I've only accessed once before and can't find the way back to. The first time I went there, I wrote down the level's name as "Pixel Platform," and that it was accessed from the Alley outside the Mall or Hell Lobby, by interacting with a "pursuing knight." I've visited the Alley many times trying to get here again, but the knight does not spawn. How do I make the knight show up?
The Knight is a random event that has an increased chance of occurring each time the Player encounters a "Scary" event.
Looking back I unfortunately did not include a password to easily increment this value, so it will have to be grinded.
The quickest way I can think of: From the starting room, click the sword on the wall; On the following map, there is a door on the main building that takes you to the mall, however, do not enter that door and head around the corner of the building. There is a moonface jumpscare there that takes you back to the starting room.
Each time this event is ran into, it will increase the spawn chance of the Knight by 3%, for maps that the Knight is able to spawn in, like the Alleyway.
Also, the map that the Knight teleports you to can only be reached through the Knight itself.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for taking the time to play my game!

I've seen some videos of #21: The World game play where in the birdhouse that you get to by clicking the clock in the dining room, there's a door accessible on the far side of the room, that leads to a large, dark area. Whenever I've played, though, there's a bird blocking that door. Did this area get removed at some point, or does some condition have to be met for the bird to not block it?
There is a condition to unlock access to that room, which involves the 4 main variables that work in the background to modify levels. I've found one route for you that can guarantee access:
From a fresh game, do not leave the initial room. Hit Enter to input the password "cow".
This will take you to the backyard map; You will need to head directly back to the house from here without detours.
Once you are back in the house dining room, enter the birdhouse through the bird clock on the wall. You should then have access to that room.
Hope this helps! Thanks for playing

hi lsddev! I am here to shout out my love for your unique and grotesque (in a good sense) aesthetics of your games! I played your #21: the world awhile ago and have tried demo of #19: the sun recently. The constrast in difficulty between 2 games surprised me a lot. I wonder if the sun is under development now, since it has been a year since your last update. I am really looking forward to see the final work!!
Hello and thank you for your kind words! I am still working on the project in any given free moment; I will do a better job a reflecting that on the social media platforms. Thank you for your patience

Hello! Big fan of 21 the world here! Just wanted to ask, even tho I know development has been on hold in favor of The Sun for a while: some teleports and/or getting too close to some walls turns the screen black, is this intentional or a known issue? Hopefully it can get patched eventually, because aside from that this is a perfect game!! Congrats on all the good work!!
Apologies for any inconvenience the bug has caused; I do have a fix in mind for that issue, I will address it along with a future update. Thank you for reminding me!

#19: The Sun {Update 25} - A First look at #19: The Sun's main antagonist:
The Warped God "Big Bad", or "BB" for short.
A self-proclaimed deity that has twisted the world into a game of his liking; He awaits the arrival of a player that can act as the Hero to the people, and stand against him as a rival.

#19: The Sun {Update 23} - Somnium Woods: A region North of Fomalhaut Castle; What might look like snow, is actually a blanket of particles that can induce an eternal slumber. Many are lain to rest in the Catacombs here; But some are known to become animated once more as “Sleepwalkers”.

#19: The Sun {Update 22} - Will be uploading some screenshots I’ve been holding onto for far too long. The game is very much still in progress, albeit going slower than I would like to due to getting caught up in the vortex of Work/Life. I am hoping for some time off to compile everything for a working deliverable.
First up on the updates is a new map, the “Theatre of the Warped”. This is the first map the player will find themselves; They will discover their role in the new world with the guidance of a certain figure of importance.

Hey. I have enjoyed both 21Theworld and 19Thesun and I excited about the new update. Im just wondering if a planned release date exists? Also this isn't meant to pressure you. Just upload it when its ready.
Thanks for writing! Currently there is no solid release date for the upcoming version, but it is still in very active development. Overall it is coming together quite well, but there are parts I would like to refine first to make it really feel like a solid experience. Thank you for your patience!
