Not to be annoying or desperate but I really feel like romantic love would encourage me to pursue all the things I want in life? I’ve been 100% independent since I was 20 years old and I’ve learned how debilitating it is to not have a strong and abundant support system. I know myself enough to know that if I find success in my career and in my battle with mental health before I find success in love, I wouldn’t even want or trust the love at that point. Because where the fuck was love when I had to pull myself out the mud? Talk myself off the ledge? Fuck I look like giving my heart away when I spent so many nights alone. When I thought I was so low I could only go up from there but instead I wallowed at rock bottom… for years. Yeah I’m good off that. So I hope that’s not gods plan for me because I simply reject it but idk God is kind of a mean motherfucker and I can say that cuz you’ve really put me through it dude.
