like how is this considered even remotely ok to say to someone its so cartoonishly homophobic with a single sentence checking both boxes of 'its fine if youre gay just shut up about it forever in shame so i can pretend gay people dont exist because it makes me angry' and calling being gay a 'preference' like its some kind of acquired sexual fetish instead of a normal orientation what the hell is wrong with these people and why isnt anybody saying anything a few years ago this never wouldve been considered even close to acceptable on here
of all the backward misinformation pits on tumblr the worst by far has to be the homosexuality denial most people on here now genuinely believe homosexuality is not real or that it shouldnt be and if it is then fine but you have to shut up about it and pretend being gay is actually something else because it upsets non gay people who wish they were gay
