The Mozart Mash-up is a collection of scenes from Mozart's most famous operas, strung together to make a new story of betrayal, infidelity and passion!  Canadian Soprano, Signa Love is the Director; Gabrielle Lochard, Ph.D Musicology student, is the Musical Coach; and the production will be accompanied on piano by UC Berkeley grad student, Jonathan Liu. Saturday, July 28th @ 8 pm, Hertz Hall, UC Berkeley campus. Admission:  $12 Adults, $10 Seniors, $6 Students - Credit card only.  Performers are UC Berkeley students, alumni and members of the community.

BROADWAY CAMP

Unitarian Fellowship, 874 York Street, 8:30am - 3:30 pm, June 22nd - June 26th/$250, Ages 9-13.

This day camp is designed to train young performers for the stage.  The kids will receive instruction for singing, dancing and acting.  The emphasis will be on telling a story through performance.  The choreographed musical numbers will be performed in a Broadway Review on Friday at 4 pm, June 26th at the Unitarian Fellowship, 874 York Street.  You may contact Signa Love for more details.  signalove@gmail.com, 506-238-1609.

Island View Conservatory of Music is proud to announce that on September 14, 2013 the Island View Opera Company was formed! As it's inaugural performance we will be presenting the English opera Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell on January 31-Feb 1, 2014. This is the first time in years that a fully staged opera has hit the stage in Fredericton. Dido and Aeneas features and excellent cast of singers and dancers. Equally exciting it will also feature our exceptional orchestra! Rehearsals have already begun and our ensemble is absolutely amazing!
