Happy Pride Month!
Reminder that it is often considered inappropriate to refer to gay people as “homosexual” and some gay people even consider it is a slur. This is partly due to it being used as a medical diagnosis in the past (and even still in some places today).
You can just call gay men gay and lesbians lesbian. It even has the added bonus of recognising our different experiences and cultures.
