Someone’s job does not forfeit their right to privacy

It just does not. I don’t care if they’re actors, musicians, athletes, ect.

Just because it’s normalized and socially acceptable does not make it right. It doesn’t make it morally acceptable. It is invasive, perverse, and disrespectful.

Just because it’s a social norm and expectation of the job does not make it alright, and until that sinks in, we’ll be stuck in this hell. Just. Stop.

You are entitled to one thing and one thing only: their performance and their craft. You are entitled to the interviews and conventions and promos that go along with it, when they are speaking about their work. Their job. That is what you are entitled to.

You are not entitled to their personal life. Not their location, not their photo when they aren’t aware they’re on camera. Not their address, not their car make and model. Not their families, not their friends. Not their relationships.

When someone puts a roadblock up on a certain topic, respect it. Bus boy, actor, dog walker, musician, doctor, Olympian, or whoever else it may be. When someone says something is private, respect it. End of story.

There are only two people in this fandom areacodefan and fitslikeakey that will actually stand up against the current narrative and I respect the hell out of them for that. They are not afraid to say that they believe Scott & Tessa are still together. 👍

I agree with you totally.  I respect them for that as well. I know many people who have remained steadfast in their belief that TS are still together. There are actually more out there than anyone realizes.  A lot of them have abandoned Tumblr altogether but are still hanging out in group chats or dms.
