I know that you were having trouble earlier, so I want to hear if you were okay." Sango said to Miroku, "Thanks, Miroku." and then she ask him, "Are you trying to want to imagine us naked?" which made Miroku's face red.

Walking a trail by the mountain, the monk Miroku was soon surprised by a fireball that landed before him and he look up to see a female fire spirit whose speak to him, "Mortal monk, you come into the terriroty of the fire god of this land. Turn back or else be burned by I, Sango." which Miroku then said without much thinking, "You are beauitful." and those sweet words stunned Sango that she froze.

As the work on their house started, both Miroku and Sango make sure that the wood used for the house is steady and perfect as Inuyasha and the village woodmen cut the trees chosen from the house down from the earth. Sango rub her belly that hold her new treasure as she watched the house begins to be build on a nice steady field of earth.

Today's chapter was originally conceptualized for the Rhythm prompt from @only-you-sango-week, but it was unfortunately delayed by some personal life priorities. So I'm very excited to finally be able to share this with you all now!

Summary:

It had started like any other night. He hung out at the bar, waiting patiently for her shift to end. They drank, they chatted, they laughed. Shot after shot turning into lingering touches. Drunken laughter turning into sensuous banter.

Maybe his hand fell a little higher on her leg than they had before. Maybe she’d had one too many cherry wines. Whatever it was, it changed their whole dynamic the moment he leaned in.

An otherwise totally innocuous evening capped by his lips crashing into hers. His arms wrapping oh so firmly around her waist as her fingers laced through that luscious, silky black hair. Drawing one another closer together until every inch of her skin burned with want from his proximity.

Since that night, nothing had been the same.

Sango hope that Miroku is okay after he fall down from that tall tree he was climbing to see some light out of these woods that the party is exploring. As Inuyasha has go ahead to look for a way out, Sango and Kagome is taking care of the hurt Miroku and the worried Sango whisper to Miroku, "Please, you have to recover from your injuries." Just then, she feel Miroku's hand on her ass and Sango noticed by the candle light of Miroku starting to open his eyes, which she slap Miroku in the face for making her so worry.

Sango's trauma is so often glossed over in the show, it's just lovely to see some of theses tender offscreen moments. 🫶

In honor of @loveofmirsan's Day 1 prompts of Plants/Life, @skyelara and I ran with a bit of a darker idea for Clandestine.

We were inspired by the pivotal moment in Episode 49 where Miroku buries her dead and Sango lays flowers at the gravesite.🥀Though this particular encounter may be life-changing in other ways 👀

“We shall bury them elsewhere and offer our prayers. Is that agreeable, Sango?”

Sango’s breath hitched, willing herself not to cry. “Of course. Miroku, I…,” she searched for the words to convey how much this meant to her, but fell short. “Thank you.” she managed, her father’s armor still clutched tightly in her grasp as Miroku continued his work. Their companions were silent beside them, either words lost or sending a silent prayer for her fallen family.

No one moved to help Miroku with his task. When he was finished, he held out his hand for her father’s armor, dark eyes searching hers as she gripped it tightly against her chest. . Her hands twitched, trying to will herself to hand the piece to Miroku but finding it just too painful to let go. Sensing her hesitation, Miroku dropped his hand, moving instead to secure the remains with care. He offered his hand to her once again once the remains were ready to be moved. She gulped down the swell of emotions weighing her down, focusing instead on the warmth of his palm as he helped her to her feet.

Great to see you again this year! I love the reflection on how life changes, but those little family moments are what make their life so great. 💗
