okay so i have a couple of things to say to this-

1. i don’t really think any of that gave any indication of whether i personally am a gaylor or not but okay??

2. why exactly should she have specifically shamed gaylors? like what non-homophobic reason is there to decide there’s something inherently wrong with being a gaylor? i’m not trying argue that there aren’t some gaylors that take things too far but that’s true about literally any side of her fandom. if anything i’m pretty sure casually thinking taylor might be queer isn’t nearly as out of pocket as all the “travis is our new dad” “i can already tell travis is the one” “taylor’s gonna quit music so they can get married and start a family” shit that started happening before they were even seen holding hands. food for thought idk.

3. the “get a hobby” routine is stale. it’s boring. if you’re gonna passive aggressively insult people at least be creative about it damn.

now i know reading comprehension is at an all time low because blondie wrote like three whole paragraphs about the media obnoxiously speculating about her relationships with men and how much it hurt and then one sentence that was basically about how she thought heteronormativity would protect her from that speculation but it didn’t. and then she specifically referenced how only being seen with woman started all the “hot girl cult” shit. and somehow the only takeaway on twitter is “SHE JUST ENDED GAYLORS 💀”… like, no. whether she’s queer or not, there’s a lot of things to takeaway from the prologue but there is no universe in which a correct one is “the whole point was specifically to shame gaylors”
