Quote
When you believe yourself to be a person, you see persons everywhere. In reality there are no persons, only threads of memories and habits. At the moment of realization the person ceases. Identity remains, but identity is not a person, it is inherent in the reality itself.
Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj (via lazyyogi)

Boredom, anger, sadness, or fear are not ‘yours,’ not personal. They are conditions of the human mind. They come and go. Nothing that comes and goes is you.

Note
Do you plan on letting your hair dread again as it grows?
I do not plan much, planning leads to expectation and expectation leads to disappointment when things don’t go as planned. Instead I embrace each mOMent with an unfiltered lens. The last time my hair dreaded, I got lice. Therefore using my discernment I will most likely brush my hair and not let it dread, unless I leave Aina. Too many people have lice here.

Do you ever feel sad? And how do you deal with sadness?
Yes, we are every emotion. We feel every emotion that is the blessing of being human beings in physical appearances. I recommend crying, deeply feeling the sadness and releasing it through tears. Afterwards feeling cleansed. Tears purify the mind/body/spirit. Better to express than repress with every emotion. When you repress an emotion, it appears in other forms in the body through dis-ease.
