went from having 6 words for chapter 5 of in my dreams to 785!!!

which yes, i know isn't a lot, however because i've been on hiatus for 5 months, so 785 words of progess within a day IS better than 7 words in 5 months 😭

after i finish the chapter i'll go ahead and update the first 4 chapters because they annoy me (nothing too drastic, just more descriptive and well rounded)!

also, just as a little note, i'm not done at ALL with aphmau related fics, i'm only done doing x readers/requests. i don't really find joy in writing them.

i only made them because it felt fun to interact with the fandom and make others happy, so apologizes if you followed for x readers or requests!

i'm sorry, but for any of my current requests in my inbox are going to be deleted as i'd prefer to just write more of what i feel happy doing instead of taking requests to force myself to improve. i feel happier when writing something i'm more passionate about rather than prompts from others!

but i'll keep everything up! you don't have to worry about me deleting any of my x readers (atleast for the time being).

i was not happy with my writing for a while which is why i kinda just... stopped. so, after i finish chapter 5, before i post it i'm going to go back and edit the first four chapters so i'm happier! i hope to get better so that i don't keep taking long breaks like this!

i've learned a lot of things from reading an insane amount of stobotnik fics over the past 2 months, so hopefully that motivates me to continue writing again!!

i also have a chapter 1 of an ivymau fic i'm almost done with that i started in october, so if things go right, hopefully i'll be able to release both before march (no promises).

i plan to participate in the stobotnik week at the end of march/beginning of april so i ahve to prepare some fics for then, so i'm hoping to get even more motivated because of that!

also no one mention it 'took me by surprise' to me because that one needs a FULL edit dear god it's so bad 😭

unfortunately i have not been motivated to write as of late and have been secluding myself to reading obey me! x readers along with miraculous rewrites... but i hope to return. most likely not aphmau x readers anymore since i have grown a bit weary of those... but others instead! i do intend to continue my other aphmau related fics after i get out of this slump as well as start some other fandoms as well!!!

my longterm goal though is to improve my writing to the point in which i finally feel i can write one of my favorite ships, kanej, with the justice it deserves. six of crows how i LONG to write for you but i fear i am not good enough yet...

After waking up from his eerie dream, Garroth, who wasn't able to fall back to sleep, struggles to navigate through his daily princely duties due to his exhaustion.

ok so. hey guys! so i've been very afk for the past 2-3 months and i apologize! after recovering from surgery, i ended up starting an aphmau fan discord server that ended up getting 470 members. now, since it has died down a lot due to the hype dying out and school starting, i've gotten back into writing!

first off, i'm writing the next chapter of my garrance fic, but hopefully after that i'll begin continuing my requests! though, i'm going to be clear about this, for the future i'm going to be a bit different with the requests i'll take in.

in the past, i used to do any request given to me as i wanted to improve my writing, however, i find myself writing some stuff that i don't really feel like writing. so from now on i'm going to be picking up any requests i find to be fun or enjoyable.

to be clear, this doesn't mean i'll turn down any and all ships i don't ship! it's more or less just what i feel inspired to do in the moment and just a way to make sure i don't get burnt out again like i did before! there are no specific examples as to which i will/won't do, so honestly it's just trying your luck when i open requests. (i will do my best to finish up the bunch of requests i have already gotten)

of course, i am also taking college courses this semester, so i will also be busy writing essays and such for english, so please be sure to be patient with any writings i do post!

that being said, i hope this isn't a downer to anyone, as i just want to make it so i don't lose motivation again. i can't wait to get back into writing again and hope this will be fun for everyone! if you have any questions or anything, feel free to ask and i'll do my best to answer!
