                                      HAPPY NEW YEAR

New Year is considered to be the most important and wonderful holiday in this world, since that is the time for people to leave their haplessness in the back and get their fortune for the New Year. New Year is the time at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar’s year count increments by one. Many cultures celebrate the event in some manner and the 1st day of January is often marked as a national holiday.

 Our new year’s day was held in the Bukidnon. Even those we want here in CDO we’ve rather to choice we will celebrate in Bukidnon with our father so that we are complete family. Complete family more happy. So we all my brothers understand where would like to let our father to celebrate it the New Year’s Day but the most important is that we celebrate it together.

 Everybody looks forward to begin a new year with great fun and enjoyment and wish that the year ahead brings them in, all goods. I too celebrate this great day with all the blast that I can. So much of fun is involved that we totally forget the passing time. Some years, friends and relatives stop by and we all join together to make it even more great. By evening, everybody is in full spirits and would be out. We sometimes go for partying and enjoy a great deal over there. As time passes by everybody starts getting excited. When it is almost past 10.00 pm, the crowd enjoys and there are live telecast in the televisions to the celebration that takes place across the world. Each place would have a difference in their timings and accordingly the New Year would dawn. When it reaches almost midnight, the entire family would be out, bursting crackers, wishing each other and enjoying and welcoming the New Year. Churches would conduct midnight masses and most of the people would be attending masses to welcome a blessed and happy new year.

                                        CHRISTMAS PARTY

Just before the last day of school I give out presents to my teacher and a few of my friends. I always hope they like what I get them. When school is over and the Christmas holiday begins I usually go out with my parents. During the day I go to Spain; maybe to a river or sometimes we just go on a ride round. Almost everyday we go out for lunch. I always ask my parents not to tell me what they get me. Of course I no longer believe I Santa Claus. They usually buy a present for my brother to give to me, as my brother is five. What I do is have my supper and then we each go to our beds. My favorite part of the holiday is Christmas day. It is because I would like to receive all the gift and excited to open with.  Christmas is the greatest festival of Christians. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm like other festivals of different communities through­out the world. It comes on 25th of December every year. It is the date when Jesus Christ was born. It is like Krishna Janmashtami of the Hin­dus. Great preparations are made. All houses and churches are white washed. They are decorated with buntings, flowers and pictures, the shops are also decorated in a beautiful way. Rich and poor, all enjoy the festival.                 The day of our Christmas, our Christmas was held in Bukidnon. I was too thankful of that day it is because all my ante and uncle give me a gift. I’m so bless on that day it is because of that king of gift. What kind of a gift? A gift that make me happier. It is a food. What kind of food is a lechon? Hahah, yeah its real I really like a lechon its to delicious. Thank you ante and uncle. For that big gift. And of course we calibrate our reunion on 20-21. I’m really enjoy on our reunion but all of the reunion I’m so happy because of the jokes of my cousin, ante, and uncle hahahahah. Decorating for Christmas is so much fun. My father always draws a new background scenery, for the Nativity scene, that he displays, every year. While my brothers and I were going to the farm just to change our lovely father to let him go home to decorate it the house. While in the farm were very enjoy playing with the soil it is because it’s raining hard. On that day were so happy, bless, and of course thankful. Thank you so God for everything that you give it to us.

                                         NUTRITION MONTH

During the of July 2016, here in Don Mariano Canoy Colleges or DMCC. It’s a month that talks about a food that can make people to become a strong, smart, and full of energy, not to become a lazy and a weak person it is a month that makes people to become a healthy person. The month of July it is a celebration of the nutrition month. The nutrition month it is an important, it is because its remember us how food is important. Without nutrition month how can we people would remember it, that the food makes us healthy. Not all food can make us healthy, some food if you eat too much like junk food, soft drinks and so on can cause you sick if you eat too much. Some food can cause as dead like a poison food. Every year there’s a nutrition month that people will celebrate it. In DMCC the nutrition month was on July 31, 2016. The theme it is a, first 1000 days ni baby, pahalagahan para sa malusog na kinabukasan. Everyone was so busy to prepare the event before the day. Sad to say we didn’t follow the schedule or the rules it is because other people were too busy practicing to prepare the event. Other people, the student and the teacher have their class it is because only dismissal can practice not the time while having a class. Unless the principal of the school said that it’s allowed to practice. The nutrition month its remind us how to become a healthy person. July 31, 2016 it has a program, in the morning would be the elementary pupils while in the afternoon would be the high school pupils. I am a high school students so I didn’t know the elementary what is there program, contest and so on. In the high school, there’s contest like a poster, slogan, cooking, Quiz bowl, jingle contest and so on. In the high school department of DMCC there’s a contest for the nutrition month can make people enjoy well it is a Mr. and Ms. Nutrition month. In our section the participant for the Mr. and Ms. Nutrition Month non other done is Lorna Pacanza and Arwin Gabe. Sad to say that our participant didn’t won. Even though that we didn’t won for the Mr. and Ms. Nutrition month we are still happy it is because everyone in our section are participating, helping each other and the most reason is we, all of us in our section is still united that we are trying hard together to achieve something. I joined the jingle contest it is because it needs 15 members to participate, and if didn’t reach 15 people there’s a deduction of points or score. Sad to say that we didn’t choose and win. But why we didn’t choose or to win, that our song is base to the theme and that is my question it is because some participants are not base to the theme? The theme is first 1000days ni baby, pahalagahan para sa malusog na kinabukasan. It’s just okay for us not to win it is because we are base to the theme but our song is just only a 1 min. and its needs 2 to 3 min. win or lose were still gonna be the section of happy and friendly people. I joined the jingle contest none other done. I didn’t join anymore other contest it is because I don’t know how to win the contest. But in our section if we don’t have an award were still happy because we try and try until we succeed. Not all contest that we don’t have an award or lose there some award that we win. First 1000 ni baby I think its 2 or 3 years old that the baby needs a food that can protect her/him. Food that are rich in protein, minerals, vitamins and can make him/her to become a healthy person. Nutrition month can teach us how to become a great and healthy person. During the program, the program was held in the gym of Don Mariano Canoy Colleges or DMCC. In our program everyone was cheering or shouting for the participants of Mr. and Ms. Nutrition month. The gym was full of noise, cheering, shouting and music that can make people too excited. Our English teacher namely Sir Jubert Jandayan and our science 8 teacher none other done Sir Myles Bacol is the only one emcee for that day. They are the reasoned why all people inside the gym are so noisy and make us too excited. There’s is also a contest for the nutrition month for each year level and it is the Pamilyahang Bayan. And we get the trophy because our pamilyahang bayan is too big and beautiful. All grade 8 students we were very happy including me. We, grade 8student are working to build and decorate it. We help each other to create a wonderful pamilyahang bayan. Before the nutrition month would end I have new m oral lesson again that baby needs a nutritious food. Someday I am will become a father and I want my child that full of nutrition.       �&�NEC

                                         BUWAN NG WIKA

Wika ang pinakamagandang regalo ng Maykapal sa kanyang mga nilalang. Ito ang tanging kasangkapan ng tao sa pakikipag-ugnayan niya sa kapwa, sa asosasyon, sa institusyon at maging sa dakilang Bathala. Malaki ang nagagawa ng wika sa pagkakaroon ng magandang unawaan, ugnayan at mabuting pagsasamahan.Kung wala ang wika, paano kaya magkakaintindihan ang mamamayan, paano kaya mapabibilis ang pagsulong ng kaunlaran at paano kaya mapalalapit ang tao sa isa’t isa? Sa bawat isang tanong at marami pang kasunod na katanungan, hindi sapat ang senyas, drowing, ang kulay, ang krokis, ang ingay o anumang paraang maaaring likhain ng tao upang matugunan ang lahat ng mga katanungan. Sa lahat ng ito, kailangan ng tao ang wika. Kaya ibabahagi ko ang aking ginawa noong Agosto 2016. Tema “FILIPINO, Wika ng Karunungan”

Ang wika nating lahat na Pilipino ay wikang Filipino. Kaya ito dapat ang aking gamitin palagi dahil nga sabi ni Dr. Jose Rizal na ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higitpa sa malansang isda. Kaya sinulat ko ang mga ito dahil noong sumali ako ng paligsahan sa Balagtan. Ang aking katigorya ay tungkol sa wikang Filipino ang mga kalaban ko naman ay wikang ingles. Oo, tama nga kayo na binasa na ang mga kalaban ko,  ako lang ang nag iisang lumalaban na ipagtanggol ang wikang Filipino. Dahil nga lath ng kakampi ko ay hindi nila kayang humarap sa mga maraming tao. Linakasaan ko ang loob ko noong mga oras nayon para may magpapresenta sa aming grupo. Kaya kinaya ko nalang kahit kinabahan ako ng todo.

         Naipadrama ng wikang Filipino ang sidhi ng damdamin, ang lalim ng lungkot, ang lawak ng galak, ang kahalagahan ng katwiran, ang kabutihan ng layunin, ang nakapaloob na katotohanan sa isang intension, ang kaibuturan ng pasasalamat at paghanga at iba pang nais na iparating ng sinuman. Wika pa rin ang pinakamahalagang sangkap sa anumang paran ng mabisang pakikipagtalastasan at komunikasyon.
