I hate the narrative that black people have to be worthy enough not to be abused. Even if Rashford never fed the kids or Saka wasn’t only 19 or Sancho didn’t open up new pitches in south london they still deserve the same respect and shouldn’t be subjected to racism period

“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” I’m pretty sure that’s the show telling us viewers that even though the evidence we’ve been given is pointing to tian being the driver he isn’t and the truth will come out next week so I’m really not worried about that aspect of the story

I proclaim myself president of the phu protection squad and will not be swayed by the fact that the story is narrated through tian’s point of view! I love both but it’s clear that people feel more sympathetic towards tian bc we don’t see the other parties feelings and hardships as clearly. People brush off the impact torfun’s death has had on phupha bc “oh she was just like a sister to him and not a romantic interest” but losing someone you consider a family member can be heartbreaking too? Especially with how little family phupha has left.

I think everyone is expecting a whole lot of phupha after the confession like he hasn’t lost someone he considered a little sister and been lied to by the person that caused said death. Wether tian was driving that night or not the entire racing situation was created by him. The person he was at that moment had no regard for other people’s lives and safety because he thought he was going to die anyway. Tul asked him to cancel the whole thing and he still wouldn’t do it. I think we can all admit that Tian just wasn’t the best person before he moved into village and like he said a few good deeds don’t erase the bad actions one has done. And yet he’s going to be forgiven for putting not only torfun but anyone who was on the road that night’s life at risk. So yeah let phupha be mad and disappointed for however long he feels like it lmao
