@francislibiran8 and @thenakedfoodie_official Francis and Christian’s love story began near Jardin de Tuileries in the City of Lights. It was mid-afternoon on Oct. 19, 2014. Christian had missed his flight, because he had gone to the wrong airport and now he sat inside the cafe, nursing a glass of red wine while reading a book. He was also studying a subway map, wondering which destination to go next in the city. . Unknown to him, his next destination was at the very next table beside him. Francis, who was also exploring the French capital, happened to be seated at the table next to Christian's. Despite the stress that comes with missing a plane, the two struck conversation, which made the evening wonderful for both of them. This love-at-first-sight meeting would turn into a year of blissful dating. The two would eventually find themselves in Paris again, together this time, where Christian had secretly planned to use the city as a backdrop to pop the question. The day was November 4, 2015. “We were at a park, across the place where we first met. He showed me a book containing illustrations of all moments we shared together," recalls Francis. What followed afterwards was the American "kneeling down with a red box containing a beautiful ring." There is no doubt in Francis' mind that Christian is the one for him. “He is everything that I prayed for and I couldn't ask for more. He is sweet, loving, and always caring. From the first time we had that intimate conversation [in Paris] we realized that our hopes and dreams aligned and that we wanted the same things in life,” Francis gushes.

@cant_stand_this & @infamousjayjackson @cant_stand_this wrote, "My name is Dylan, and my partners name is Jay. We met about 5 months ago on Grindr believe it or not! We agreed to first meet up for dinner and decided prior to meeting that we’d also go to a nearby club. After hitting it off at dinner we decided to ditch the club and head closer to home. We jammed to music at night with the windows down driving through Manhattan. Then we went on a road trip to Pennsylvania together the following day. We’ve been pretty inseparable since. He works as a hair stylist and I work as a designer in advertising." Couple was posted to our Instagram @loveasianmen on July 24, 2018

@monkeyfollowsthesheep wrote, “We met in the most romantic way: online. We started chatting right away and Skype followed soon after. It took about 3 months before we met in real life. During these 3 months we tried to Skype as much as possible, which wasn’t easy due to the 6 hours time difference between Malaysia and the Netherlands. But somehow we developed a routine by staying up late (for Ming Hou) and starting and leaving work early (for Pieter), which enabled us to Skype to each other for almost 2 hours a day. During these hours we started to get feelings for each other and really wanted to meet up. This took place in Athens in September 2014, for which we made a detailed schedule for our first road trip. We had a lot of time to prepare via Skype, we even knew which meals we wanted to order in some good reviewed restaurants. Our road trip though Greece was a big success and the real start of our story together. It wasn’t an easy story, because the distance and time difference remained. Six to seven hours and 10.000 kilometres apart was hard, but during our long weekend skype calls we watched movies together, prepared the same meals together to enjoy shared (long distance) dinners. . Luckily Pieter’s work enabled him to visit Ming Hou every 3 months and also made it possible to stay and work for one month. That way we could already experience the real thing: living and working together. The little (and maybe boring) things got to be so much fun: getting groceries together, hanging the laundry etc. In 2016 Ming Hou moved to the Netherlands to live together; in 2017 (17-07-17) we got married!

We’ve now moved down south near London and next to the sea." And what happened when they first met? "He pretended not to know where the park he wanted to go to was. He wanted an excuse to chat me up. Instead of just giving him directions, I took him there and we ended up having an impromptu picnic." Couple featured on our Instagram @loveasianmen on July 2, 2018

Now, three and a half years later, we are still at it, living in Sacramento, California and engaged. I love his enthusiasm for life."
