Annabeth: you can duet with me on ‘Shallow’
Percy: you don’t want that
Annabeth: oh I don’t know, might be romantic
Grover: I’m just going to keep walking
Percy: I would know Annabeth's face anywhere. I love her face.
Annabeth: Did you just call John Lennon ‘that one dude’?
Annabeth: you’re the one who made Hebe mad!
Percy: me? That was all of us!
Annabeth: Ninety percent you.
Percy: only ninety percent, though. I’m improving!
Annabeth: Calm down Seaweed Brain. I’ve got this under control.
Percy: hmmm
Annabeth: don’t hmmm me. Gotta go. Love you
Percy: you too. Don’t love your plan tho
Annabeth: finish your homework
Percy: yes ma'am

Annabeth: *sees snakes* Gross
Grover: hey now, check your mammalian prejudices, reptiles are people too
Percy: Look at my old friend…taking charge and kicking grass.
Annabeth: And whatever you do, don’t stop skipping, Skippy.
Annabeth: You named your staff Mercedes?
Annabeth: …that’s a beautiful name
Iris: He will go by the name….Gary
Annabeth: …Gary

Annabeth: I’m surprised you can quote Shakespeare

Annabeth: No, it’s not radioactive, honey
Percy: I see what you did there
Annabeth: Excuse me, I need a word with my client
Zeus: I do love watching him walk away
Hera: could you not at the brunch table?

i think a lot of the magic of this shithole website actually comes from the fact that the search feature is completely useless… like the fact that you quite literally cannot search for a post even if you type it in word for word means that all the classic, beloved, and infamous posts are these ephemeral things that only come around every so often and can only be found organically when they happen to make it to your dash like a flock of rare migratory birds

Percabeth, one month married
MARI! MY ANGEL! HELLO DEAR! Thank you for a delightfully fluffy prompt!
~
Together
~
Annabeth’s vaguely aware of waking up, slowly, sleep pulling itself out of her grasp as the light makes its way across her eyelids. She makes a tiny little noise as she stretches her arms above her head.
“You awake?” Percy asks. He sounds far more awake than Annabeth herself feels.
“No,” Annabeth mumbles, pulling the blankets up around her. “Jeez, it’s cold.”
“It’s March in New York City,” Percy says, curling up behind her. “It’s always cold.”
“We gotta figure out a way to get this apartment to stay warmer.”
Percy’s hands slip just under the hem of her tee shirt. “Listening.”
“Okay, not what I meant, you horndog,” Annabeth laughs. She threads her fingers into Percy’s, like they always do. “Jeez, it’s like you only got more obsessed with me after the wedding.”
Percy’s fingers find her wedding ring, twisting and turning it as he presses his lips to her neck. “I’ve been obsessed with you since we were twelve. It’s increasing exponentially as we get older.”
“Ooh, keep talking nerdy to me,” Annabeth laughs.
The morning fades away as they fade into each other and Annabeth, despite all they’ve battled, thinks it may have been worth it now that they get to land right here. Together.

“I feel like a different person, I feel ashamed of myself, it feels so personal! Such an intimate moment to be shared with so many people, I will be discussing this with my therapist at length, at length!”

Wednesday February 22.
Harry Styles Drinking From A Shoe.
Stop the press. Roll up, roll up. Gather round, one and all. If you're into #harry styles, shoes, inexplicable Australian traditions, and drinking, then have we got a treat for you this Wednesday. The nation-state is a flawed but proud concept, and the land masses into which we are randomly birthed can become a source of immense pride and identity. This manifests itself in a number of ways, from language, to dress, to cuisine, to cultural traditions. And such is the majesty and madness of our fleshy species that one nation in particular, Australia, devised "The shoey" in which participants drink from their own shoe. Quite the calling requires quite the man to execute such a moment.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man: Mr. Harry Styles.
If you too can't get enough of #harry styles, or shoeys, you can catch all the latest gifs, pix, and sexy, shoey goodness right here as he brings Love on Tour across Australia and beyond.

when Thalia tells them to eat hamburgers after the war! Thalia discovering romance
Here you go!
Hamburgers After the War:
It was a relief to be back in Manhattan. Nearly three weeks after the war, the city had returned to normal: honking vehicles, obtuse pedestrians, the clamor of voices and construction work making a strangely comforting din. A lot of times, Thalia found the city too much to take in, especially if she and the Hunters had been in the quiet of the woods for a few weeks. But after hearing it be so eerily quiet during the war, it was a relief to have it back to full, mostly controlled, chaos.
Her table at Le Parker Meridien looked out over West 56th Street, so she had a good view of Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase as they strolled up the sidewalk…holding hands.
"Interesting," Thalia muttered, resting her elbows on the table and leaning forward as she watched them approach. When they reached the restaurant, they paused outside the doors. Annabeth glanced up and down the street, as if looking for Thalia, but then she laughed at something Percy had said. Then, she kissed him quickly…on the lips.
Thalia started to grin. It only grew wider when Annabeth and Percy walked into the restaurant and saw her sitting there, at a table with a clear view of the street. She watched them exchange a glance, then walk resignedly over to the table. Annabeth dropped into the seat across from Thalia.
"Well?" Annabeth crossed her arms. "Just say it."
"Say what?" Thalia was still grinning.
"You know what."
"Uh, what's Thalia going to say?" Percy asked as he cautiously lowered himself into the chair beside Annabeth.
"I am the lieutenant of Artemis." Thalia leaned back in her chair, the smile still on her face. "It's against my dignity to say 'I told you so.' Even if I did, in fact, tell you that this kelp-head actually liked you."
Percy muttered something that sounded suspiciously like "Pinecone Face," while Annabeth rolled her eyes before saying, "Fine. You were right. Happy?"
"Thrilled." Thalia was still smirking, even as the waiter came to take their drink order. Once he'd left, she said, "So, when did this start? Officially?"
"August 18th," Annabeth said. "Percy's birthday."
"And how's it going so far?"
Percy and Annabeth exchanged another look, as if both nervous to admit the truth. Finally, Annabeth said, "It's good. Right?"
"Oh yeah," Percy said, nodding quickly. "Really good."
"That's great," Thalia said, genuinely. "I'm happy for you guys. Seriously."
"Thanks." Annabeth smiled. "I was afraid you'd give me a hard time."
Thalia shook her head as the waiter returned with their drinks. She waited until he'd left again, then said, "The Hunters aren't for everyone. And that's okay. You two are good together."
They both smiled and exchanged another happy look. Thalia was telling the truth. She was happy for them. Plus…
"Besides," she added, taking a sip of her drink, "if you two got together on August 18th, that means I won the betting pool. Remind me to talk to Connor Stoll the next time I get to camp. There's a stack of drachmas waiting for me."
And Thalia had to grin again at her friends' outraged expressions.
