Episode 77 and Astro upgrade angst under the cut.

If the Astros do “upgrade” Titan TVman or anyone else they capture, the results should be ghastly. Not just “same character but red and spiky” (although that could totally be done well and has been done well in some speculative art), but outright giant robot version of a demonic possession. Chains, horrific bracing that could be reinforcement or restraints, parts clamped on with external struts, lots of signifiers that this is not what they are, this is not what they’re meant to do. The Astros either don’t know how to get in there and make more sympathetic alterations, can’t be bothered to, or more likely, they want their tools to be unbearable to look at.

That would be creepy, and tragic, and awesome, and make eventual rescue and repair more visually impactful.
