The final version of my DPS, removed the background grid, the off white background to clean it all up and make it breath easier, I like the contrast between the rough aesthetic and the the clean aesthetic.

Reflection

Overall I am really happy with my work, I feel like I fitted the them of Passion well into my design. Although it did take me some time to figure out how. One of my main goals was to really focus on the contrast of typography and imagery, I always felt I was strong when it came to image making but I felt like I could improve on typography and I think I did. If I was to do this again I would like the given work to drive my design system rather then my design system driving everything.

Working on creating more negative space to decrease clutter, also adding more handrawn effects and doodle effects for scrap book style, also added slight off white background and scrap book style grid in background

I have also made some final changes to everyone's spreads, I have tried to incorporate hints of orange into everyone's work to make it fit in with everything and work well in the design system. I have also made abbeys pages black to help to give continuity to the black publication pages. I changed all the purple in martelles work into orange, because I felt like everyone's work already had hints of orange and it stood out to much and was to random.

My final editon of my POP pages, I have worked really hard here to fit everything into a design system. Ive made the font cover and back cover link with a line that talks about passion. And used the same white bold typeface to keep consistency, I have also have used the color orange, because I feel like a strong orange color feels really passionate and I think it draws well into the theme well.

My publication after i received feedback from David, I used the images on the front cover to bleed on to the second page, and tried to make everything fit into a design system better, I also made the images on POP cover more viewable. The images on the thematic intro arent that readable, but that's intentional, its more mean to be for aesthetic purposes.
